I like Hayate No Gotoku! very much and I’m very happy to hear the news. Even though it’s already 52 episodes long, I still can’t get enough of it. Why? Because of certain things that Hayate No Gotoku! have and other animes don’t. One of the obvious one is the wide variety of lovable characters. From the tsundere-Nagi to the can’t-help-but-to-love-Maria and other awesome characters such as the perfect-girlfriend-material-Hinagiku.
Other things that I love about the series are the characters breaking the 4th wall and the anime references. Hayate No Gotoku! has minimum plot and most of the episodes are not related to the plot at all. But I don’t mind and it’s good to watch animes like this once in a while. I don’t even mind if Hayate No Gotoku! goes on forever because I will never get tired of it. So, I hope that the 2nd season will be at least 52 episodes long just like the 1st one.

I still can’t believe this. Despite going 52 episodes, they are still doing season 2?
I just hope they can keep the story going. I know I’ve enjoyed the series thus far.

Hayate, らã☆ã™ãŸ and “They Are My Noble Masters” are by far my favourite in parodies and jokes referenced toward older or other manga titles. Also, alot of the humour is very original in such a sense, pure love.
I wasn’t very surprised that they’re doing a 2nd season, but I’m definitely gonna enjoy it! With School Rumble (another pretty “original” anime IMO) season III on it’s way, things just keep getting better :D

A new season is officially planned, there was an announcement in march and another at the end of the final episode, but I doubt it will come within this year.
If you are still interested in the first season, especially now that saiMOE is around the corner, check the review I made … includes all 104 eye-catches (in high-res) and a lot more.
