Namco Bandai and CyverConnect 2 have created a CG anime based off the .Hack G.U PS2 games for DVD and Blu-Ray. Akibablog reports that it recently went on sale. Hit the jump for Videos and Screens.

It looks real good for cell shading. You won’t miss much having not played the games though I’d say they cut most of the major characters out to focus on just a few (including my preferred pairing so no complaints anyhow ^^)

I’ve actually been waiting for this to come out :D
The game is pretty good, although the story didn’t really go as I hoped. It’s a lot easier compared to the original 4, though.
