So I decided to blog this awesome anime..

Special A tells a story about the rivalry between Hikari and Kei. Both of them are in an ultra elite school and they are also in an ultra elite class called the Special A class. Special A consists of the 7 best students in the school. Hmm..sounds like Ouran to you? Let’s see… Here’s ~S.A~ Special A - 1,

First of all, the legs are LONG. Also, is it just me or the length of the legs sometimes change in the episode. Sometimes it’s bearable but sometimes, it’s not.. Oh well..

OMG, it’s an Ouran ultra elite school. It certainly does look better than normal school, but Ouran school > this one. If this is an ultra elite school, Ouran High School must be a super hyper mega ultra elite school..

Also, not all the students are rich. But most of them are.. (damn you rich people, lol)

Hmm..what should I call this? Fanboying/Fangirling? Looks like the normal ultra elite students worship the Special A students or something. They go “Kyaa!” over them. This is my 1st laugh in the anime, so..it’s good so far..

They also included THIS. They introduced the character this way and Ouran is the only other anime I know that uses this technique. Further proving that this anime is following Ouran’s success. But they included a kawaii voice in this one. I LOVE it!

It’s a classroom or garden.. A very big classroom/garden that is more than enough for 7 students and it is separated from the normal school buildings. The interior of the classroom/garden looks like a tropical paradise (Ouran). No wonder they love coming here. Hmm..do they study by themselves, because I didn’t see any teachers in the 1st episode. Or do they study at all…

There are no incests twin brothers in this anime, but at least they have a brother and a sister here (twins?). Also, the sister (Megumi) is cute and she speaks using writing pads, which increases her cuteness.

I don’t get this..but it’s funny. Can someone explain?

I love this too. Looks we’ll be seeing this a lot in the anime. And something tells me that I will love Megumi, a quiet girl but looks lively and funny at the same time.

Kei, I’m gonna like and hate this guy at the same time. I like him because of his coolness. Hate him because of his ‘you can’t beat me’ attitude and he is annoying most of the time. So..any other reasons to like/hate him?

I will assume that this joke will be repetitive and ‘overused’. This happens a lot in this episode and I got bored of it already. I don’t mind if Hikari just ignores the joke but this episode shows that words will fall every time..

This scene proves his ‘you can’t beat me’ attitude and his annoying-ness. I love to see people like this get beaten. Especially if a cool guy like Kei gets beaten by a girl, in wrestling. Lol..

This scene proves his coolness and his intelligence. He remembers everything by only seeing it once. Oh really.. I guess that’s why he is the top student..

Not enough impact. To me, that doesn’t look hurt at all. I know, it does hurt, but hey, this is an anime. There should at least be a ‘BAM!’ word flying around when this happens. It was meant to be a joke after all..

LOL! Why did Kei do that? Also, Kei’s voice changes to a more serious one during this scene. Hmm..why do I keep thinking that Miyano Mamoru suits Kei better.. Maybe I’m used to hearing Tamaki’s voice in Ouran..

Why did the annoying song have to ruin this fight scene? Why did they put that song there? Well, it wasn’t that bad..

Surprise, surprise. Didn’t expect this at all (the blushing). So now we know that Kei clearly likes Hikari. But does Hikari feel the same towards Kei? For now, I don’t think so. Maybe she is too busy finding ways to beat Kei. So, she doesn’t even realize that Kei have feelings towards her. But, we all know that it will change later..

In the end, Hikari still can’t beat Kei, even after scoring full 100% marks in her exam, because Kei got an extra 5 marks. Lol.. Coincidence? I don’t think so..

I like this episode. The animations are very good, the sounds are ‘ok’. I love the characters in Special A. All of them have their own traits and personalities and I want to see more. Also, we’ll be seeing a lot of the rivalry between Hikari and Kei. I want to see them competing in everything, from wrestling, to other things.

As most of you know, I’m a sucker for shows of this genre (shoujo), especially this one because it has the ‘Ouran’ look. I might even consider this as the successor of Ouran. I have high expectations for this anime, so I want ~S.A~ Special A to be as awesome as Ouran or even better.

So, if you like Ouran, or if you’re like me, who loves shoujo, this is for you. But if you still don’t like it, I want to know why.. Because, you can’t go wrong with animes that looks like Ouran..
