Well, just like the previous one, this episode wasn’t an impressive one either. Not really a bad one but there wasn’t anything that made me go “OMG”/”Woah”. But it is still worth watching. Anyway, here’s ~S.A~ Special A - 2..

First thing I want to comment on is the OP.. I did expect the OP to be this type of genre, with the squeaky voice and all that and I don’t like it very much. But, this OP was worse than what I expected, Goto Yuko’s voice is WAY TOO SQUEAKY in the OP. I think that the OP will sound better if Goto Yuko used her ‘mature’ voice, the one that she uses to voice Hikari. If not, they can change the singer, or even change the song, because this one is TERRIBLE.

They are still using this things/techniques (yea, I still don’t know what it is called, but you know what I mean) to introduce the character again. I love it so they can do this in every episode.
Also, if you noticed, Hikari is the only person from Special A that has a normal family. Her father is a chief carpenter. The other members are all from prestigious, high ranking, and obviously rich families.
This includes:
- Ryuu (son of a sports manufacturer president)
- Megumi/Jun (daughter/son of a music producer and a gifted vocalist)
- Tadashi (son of the board chairman of the school)
- Akira (daughter of an airline company president)
- Kei (son of the Takashima Group president)

I noticed this one just now, it looks like Hikari is the only Special A student who studies hard tries hard to be the best. The other students in the other hand, don’t, and I never seen them study before. But they are still the top 7 students in the school, even without studying…

I don’t which one is funnier/cuter/weirder, Megumi using the writing pads to speak or the relationship between Ryuu and the twins. Looks the 3 of them have a weird relationship and the twins seems to idolize Ryuu or something. Why? Perhaps we will know if we watch more of the anime (or manga).

Oh no, not this one. I ABSOLUTELY HATE this type of people. A person who uses dirty tricks to get what they want. I can’t stand this type of people..makes me want to kill them…
He is the top student of Class A and perhaps the 8th best student in the whole school, and he is not satisfied with it. Heh, 1 rank can make a huge difference..

I don’t know if the other students of Special A knows about it, but, Hikari, Kei obviously likes you. Just like what I said in my previous post, maybe Hikari is too busy finding ways to beat Kei. I guess that’s why she didn’t notice about it, even though lots of clues are given to her.

Dirty tricks, you see? Good thing that Hikari was able to avoid those things, especially those bamboos? Why did they use those? It was funny by the way, especially the fact that Hikari doesn’t care about it.

This technique has been used/overused in a lot of animes/dramas before, so I/we already know what the outcome will be. It is dramatic and all but if you use ‘logic’, Hikari = burden? Not at all. Actually, I will say that Kei is the burden for saying that. Except that neither one of them is a burden, so just do it..

Sugoi!
I’m starting to learn martial arts myself and I’m far from capable of doing that. Or, is it impossible to do that? You know, you can’t just believe everything you see, especially from an anime. Anyway, if it is real, then I definitely want to learn to do that.
Actually, what I want comment here is Megumi’s cute face. The expression she made was kawaii~

OMG, IT’S A TRAP!

HANDCUFFS! I never thought that will come out, so good trick there. But it doesn’t change the fact that it is a dirty trick. Well, Hikari and Kei can easily separate them apart, I mean, look at what they’ve done with gym.. lol..

I don’t know about you people, but I find this scene as ‘lame’. Why?
1. Kei should know that Hikari will never agree to it. She will never let Kei fight alone and just watch Kei gets all the glory. Kei have known Hikari for years so he should have known about it.
2. Erh..can those ‘Fankyu Brothers’ even hurt/touch Hikari? The answer is no, right? Hikari can easily beat those guys even when she is alone. So don’t worry about it, ok Kei?
3. THE HANDCUFFS! Kei should have broken the handcuffs first before playing ‘hero’. Again, proving that Kei isn’t as smart as you people think he is.
Maybe he is too blinded by love to think about these simple things..

Now that’s more like it!
So they won in the end. It was expected anyway so there wasn’t any suspense in it. But, whatever..

Overall, an ‘ok’ episode. I could have been a better one if the fight scene at the end wasn’t there. Maybe I’m not sensitive enough to truly understand it. I never find scenes that is supposed to make you feel something as ‘touching’ anyway, except the ones that can be found in Kanon, Air, Clannad, Honey & Clover, True Tears, and other animes. Ok, maybe I do love these scenes..
The OP, they really need to change it..
