Nodame Cantabile will be getting a 2nd season. It will start airing in October.

Nodame Cantabile is a great show. What attracted me to watch the series was the music theme that the anime has. Being a piano player myself, this was a definite watch for me. The series inspired me to practice more. But music is not the only thing that makes this anime awesome. Nodame Cantabile has comedy, romance, and all of the things that shoujo animes have. You know how much I love shoujo animes. This anime is so awesome that some people named their site using the words from the lyrics of the opening song.

Woah! A lot of my favorite shows are getting a sequel this year. This is certainly happy about it. Looks like this year will be a great anime year.

From now own, instead of putting a lot of images in one post, I will put the images (9 of them) together into one image and add the logo of the anime and the episode number. And the result is above. It looks better this way too..

But apparently, I don’t have any info on The Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi. Not yet anyway..

June’s issue of Newtype have announced that there will be some information about the 2nd season of Haruhi on the July issue of Newtype next month. The above image is the teaser for it.

3 shows from KyoAni are currently in production. The Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi, Clannad ~After Story~, and Lucky Star OVA. All 3 of them are sequels to the popular titles that they have animated before. KyoAni must be busy right now with all the shows, I hope they will do a great job at it because I like all 3 of the anime titles and they are very popular among anime fans. My expectations are pretty high and you know KyoAni, they will definitely do a great job.

An OVA adaptation of Kagami Yoshimizu’s Lucky Star school slice-of-life manga has been greenlit for production in Japan. The pre-announcement was made in a COMPTIQ magazine ad in the free From Gamers Cool pamphlet that is distributed at Gamers and AniBro Gamers stores. The June issue of Kadokawa Shoten’s COMPTIQ magazine, which has been publishing the original Lucky Star manga, will ship on May 10 with more details on the OVA project. The four-panel comedy manga deals with the everyday life of four girls in a Japanese high school and has already been adapted into a television anime series last year. Bandai Entertainment and Kadokawa Pictures USA are launching the DVD release of that earlier anime series in North America this week.

気ミュージシャンのGackt（ガクト）さんの声をベースにしたボーカル音源ソフト「GACKPOID（がくっぽいど）」が6月中旬に発売される。人気 ミュージシャンがボーカル音源ソフトに登場するのは初めてで、動画投稿サイトなどで大ヒットしたボーカル音源ソフト「初音ミク」に続くヒットが期待されて いる。

It seems that Gackt will be providing his voice for Gackpoid, which is based on the same engine that powers Vocaloid 2, where the virtual idol Hatsune Miku creates a immense fandom among otakus and fans alike.

Gackpoid is tentatively set for a release in mid-June this year.
