Not going much into the summary as it can be read online at Random’s Blog and others as well.

Anyhow I really love this series. I am delighted to see quite lots of references to Macross and Macross 7 such as the environments, to hearing Basra’s song being played in the car radio and how the love story is setup similar to the original Macross. In episode 2 -3 Alto saves Sheryl and Ranka and she goes tries out for Miss MAcross while Alto joins the SMS squadron, a mercenary unit that fights the Valjara. I will start from Episode 4 and update according over the weekend, Ranka joins Miss Macross just like Linn Minmei (Lynn Minmay) did.
