Nodame Cantabile will be getting a 2nd season. It will start airing in October.
Nodame Cantabile is a great show. What attracted me to watch the series was the music theme that the anime has. Being a piano player myself, this was a definite watch for me. The series inspired me to practice more. But music is not the only thing that makes this anime awesome. Nodame Cantabile has comedy, romance, and all of the things that shoujo animes have. You know how much I love shoujo animes. This anime is so awesome that some people named their site using the words from the lyrics of the opening song.
Woah! A lot of my favorite shows are getting a sequel this year. This is certainly happy about it. Looks like this year will be a great anime year.

Wow, what great news! Nodame was definitely one of the highlights of last year, and I’m glad there’s going to be more coming along. I don’t know if you’ve seen the live action adaptation but I thought it was fantastic too; they really managed to capture a lot of the gags and the slapstick comedy.
