  • Vampire Knight - 7,

So it’s a flashback episode. I normally hate flashbacks, but this one is different. This one is pretty good and I watched the episode from the beginning to the end without moving away from my seat. This is very rare especially for a flashback episode, I got bad experiences from watching Naruto and Bleach.

What made the flashback good? Firstly, now I understand more of the story. I understand why Yuuki is so close to Kaname, because they have been that way since they were little. It’s hard to get rid of the habit that you have been carrying around since your childhood days. So, I understand a little…

The voice in the background is..annoying..

Kaname…is actually a nice person. Well, the younger version of Kaname anyway. The current version on the other hand is creepy. The younger Kaname is the ‘nice-onii-chan’ type that every little girls like. I think that he is cool, because he actually laughed in one scene (yea, laughing is cool).

The younger Zero is emo, and the current one is still emo. Is being ‘emo’, fun? I hate emo kids… Also, Mamoru Miyano voicing the younger Zero is still weird..

Near the end of the episode, when Zero puts a blanket on Yuuki, Yuuki thought that was Kaname. Why? Maybe because Kaname is the only one visible from her eyes near the door. But still, poor Zero. Yuuki only sees Kaname in her eyes, while Zero is only a close friend to her. She doesn’t think that there is a possibility that Zero likes her. Love-triangle..

What did I get in the end? A good episode. This episode balanced Zero and Kaname, because certain things were explained. The flashbacks made me like Kaname more for being a cool onii-chan, and hate Zero for being an emo. But the feeling didn’t last for long thanks to Kaname’s words in the end of the episode. Now, I hate both of them. But that doesn’t stop me from continuing to watch this series. I’m sure that one of them will be likable soon.

Nothing much to say about this episode because there was little (or none at all) plot and development for the characters.

haha, saw that in the manga but I’m quite excited on how it will look like in the anime (haven’t watched it yet)

      chibi Yuuki is love <3

And Yuuki does far too much Vampire baiting for her own good. Like the show says, her innocence is her greatest sin as she causes others to commit sins.

@ wenwen: Oh, so you read the manga. Well, I don’t want to spoil myself by reading the manga and the anime is good too. Unless the anime turns bad anyway, which is highly impossible.

@ nutcase32: Yea, she wants to get into trouble..on purpose. Yuuki seems to be more attractive to the vampires compared to other humans. I wonder why…

@ Setsukyie: haha, I read the manga before I even knew there was the anime ^_^ The anime is quite loyal to the manga as I can see and I’m quite trusting Studio Deen due to previous good works (Fruits basket, Matantei Loki Ragnarok, Tactics, Higurashi and now…Vampire knight) So I’m positive that they won’t spoil Vampire knight although they might leave a cliffhanger or something at the very end like they did with most anime ^_^ I’ve watched it and it’s quite similar although some not so significant parts were changed ^_^
@nutcase32: It is because… spoilers spoilers spoilers spoilers….and more spoilers… That’s why ^_^ Actually…if I told you, it’ll become a spoiler so I better not spoil you ^_^ Sorry, but I know you don’t want to be spoiled ^_^
