Yes, it’s that time again. Time to read my boring Vampire Knight episode reviews (if any of you read it at all). But I still do the reviews week by week even though I don’t really enjoy it. Lol, here goes..
Vampire Knight - 8,
The episode is separated in two parts. The 1st half focuses on the arrival of Ichijou Asatoo a.k.a. Ichiou, the grandfather of Ichijou (I don’t know his first name). I think that the Night Class students are exaggerating a little about Ichiou. They say that he is scary and all, even comparing him to Kaname, in terms of who is scarier. Who knows, maybe he really is scary, but this episode doesn’t show why he is scary, except the fact that everyone fears him. Garten says that he looks like an older version of Dante (Devil May Cry) and he does. Zero on the other hand looks like a younger version of Dante..lol..
Ruka offered her blood to Kaname but HE REFUSED?? She must be really in love with him to do that, just like Yuuki and Zero. The difference is Ruka is more ‘willing’ than Yuuki. As we can see in the bathroom scene, Yuuki said that she will only ‘provide blood’ to Zero and not to anyone else. That’s going too far, don’t you think so? If Yuuki still continue to provide blood to Zero, Zero will become more hungry for blood and in the end, he really will become a full vampire. Also, why does this anime always contain bathroom scenes + Zero fanservice..
The 2nd half focuses on vampire hunting and finally some action, even if it was only a little. After watching Shiki’s move, I’m more excited about the upcoming fights in Vampire Knight (if there are any, hopefully there are some). The fight wasn’t that impressive, it was only average. But if there are more fights with moves like that, I’m sure that it will be fun to watch.
I don’t know why Zero became a vampire hunter so suddenly. A vampire hunting vampire, weird huh? Not really, I think that is COOL. But they should have explained how Zero became a vampire hunter. I’m sure that the Hunter Association won’t except a vampire to be a vampire hunter, especially a someone who will become a Level E soon. There are 2 possibilities. 1, they have very good reason to do so. And 2, they don’t know that Zero is a vampire..
I know that I have said this before, why does Yuuki always have to be the ‘damsel in distress’. It happens too often that it’s annoying for me to watch. Don’t be stubborn and don’t follow Zero all the time. The following Zero thing is okay as long as you don’t get in harm’s way. If you can count how many times Yuuki got into trouble, I’ll give you a cookie ^^
Rima and Shiki is a cool pair. Both of them are very relaxed and they take their job lightly. But they do want to finish their job. I’m really interested in those two, and I want to find out what power does Rima has.
That girl in the end, I don’t know who she is but I’m pretty sure that I will hate her. She sounds annoying and she looks like a childish person. Not my type…

Isn’t he from a vampire hunter family? He’s naturally a vampire hunter…right?

Usually…in anime, the main female character will get into trouble and the main male character will save her. Some anime is the other way round though, if the guy is useless that is…(hinting at Rosario+Vampire) But sometime of course it’s when the main character get out of trouble herself or himself ^_^
Yuuki is the type that likes poking her nose into danger so she gets into trouble often and someone had to save her(Zero or Kaname). And that girl at the end…I never expected her voice to sound like that…I expected her voice to be cooler when I read the manga… And surprising things are about to happen soon *can’t wait to look at the faces of those that watched the anime only ^_^*

@ 53RG10: Ohh..I didn’t remember about that..*shoots self for being ignorant*. But still, vampire hunting vampire.. That can’t be right..
@ wenwen: I prefer a female saving a male because that makes the female cooler for saving a male (a male saving a female occurs too often in everything). Unless the male is too useless and pathetic, that can get annoying at times (Rosario + Vampire). A good example of a female saving a male would be in Shakugan no Shana. Shana saves the main male character (can’t remember his name) all the time. But the main male character learns from it and thus, he learns to fight (to save Shana, I guess).
Surprising things huh..can’t wait. So, I’m avoiding anything about the manga, to avoid spoilers..

@Setsukyie: Don’t shoot yourself!! We all have those ‘brain farts’ moments when we forget stuff! >_<
Vampire hunting vampires can’t be right, but it’s sure used quite often.
Ex: Blade {Blade}, Selene {Underworld: Evolution}, Alucard {Hellsing}, Angel {Buffy the Vampire Hunter / Angel}, and I’m sure there’s more! ^_^

@Setsukyie: Ya, Shana saved Yuji but then Yuji could save Shana as well ^_^ Actually, In Rosario+Vampire manga, Tsukune learnt to save Moka too, and more often after he gained powers, LOL! But then, some anime guys are really useless though…like the Rosario+Vampire anime, Tsukune, he wants to save Moka but always end up is Moka save him…
and, surprising things will happen if the anime did not give out any hints like they did when they showed that Zero is a vampire… And I read the manga before the anime so…I know a whole bunch of spoilers but don’t worry, I’m not going to say them, LOL! ^_^
