Vampire Knight 9,
Wow, this is a very good episode, much better than the previous ones. Thanks to the return of the comedy which was absent in the recent episodes. The funny parts in this episode is mainly contributed by Aidou. That guy sure is weird. Abusing his positions as the ‘most popular and most wanted by die hard fangirls’ to tease Yuuki (and his fans) twice! The girls really got mad and jealous. The reason why Aidou did that? Revenge perhaps, or he is just bored.
The main focus in this episode is the arrival of a new character. Kurenai Maria, a transfer ‘vampire’ student who is a loli, because we really need one (a loli vampire). I wasn’t expecting that a character like her will make an appearance, but her arrival made the series more interesting. Now I really have something to look out for, instead of explanations about zero being emo.
Kurenai Maria is an interesting character. Last episode, when she made that laughing voice, she sounded annoying, but I’m glad that she is not. To me, she is just like Kaname, except that she is more daring. Both of them likes Yuuki and hates Zero. She told Yuuki that her blood is delicious, while Kaname wasn’t man enough to do so. Surprisingly, it didn’t bother Yuuki much. Also, she is more evil than Kaname, not that Kaname is actually evil though. My speculation says that she might be a ‘yuri’ character too..^^
In this episode, we finally know the name of the person who killed Zero’s parents. Her name is Hiou Shizuka. Just like what Zero and Aidou said, she resembles Maria. They also talked about the possibility of Shizuka changing her appearance. Interesting. If a pureblood can do that, then this means trouble. That ability can do anything.
It seems that everyone have ‘issues’ with Kurenai Maria. From Adiou to Yugari-sensei and perhaps Kaname too. Zero showed more of his hate than others. I think that the chairman realized that Maria looked like ‘that woman’. But he still insisted that her precious daughter to take care of her. Sure, Yuuki the only day class student other than Zero that knows about the existence of vampires. Hiring a night class student for the job would be troublesome and asking Zero to do it is out of the question. Well, if Maria does something drastic, there are lots of consequences. I’m sure that the chairman, Zero, Yugari-sensei, and Kaname will take action. But we’re talking about a pureblood vampire here, so it will be Kaname’s job.
At the end of the episode, we see someone who resembles Zero. I thought that was Zero at first, but after reading the summaries of a few bloggers, that is not Zero. I mean, what is Zero doing there anyway, so that can’t be Zero. That masked person seems to be a servant of Maria, who serves as a ‘blood-bag’? I’m really interested about why he looks like Zero, his twin brother perhaps. Vampire Knight is really getting interesting now. So, I’m gonna stay away from any spoilers and hopefully I will succeed in doing so.

LOL! Loli vampire! I like lolis because they are cute and I like cute characters *I’m a girl*. I feel that Maria is a quite yuri, in the opening song, she almost kissed Yuuki!!! And I’m glad that her voice did not sound like the one in episode 8 and I’m glad that she sounded cool instead of annoying ^_^
Um…there’s a way to stay away from spoilers, don’t look at other summaries as some bloggers have read the manga before and…you know…they might ‘pop’ spoilers in there… I know something as well but I’ll not say it as I don’t want to spoil you as well LOL!
~By the way…Special A really started focusing more on other characters and it is becoming intresting… I was a bit unsure of watching S.A in the first few episodes but I’m sure of it after it became intresting… ^_^

@ wenwen:..and who doesn’t like cute characters? (find one and I’ll give you a cookie ^^). She is only yuri towards Yuuki I guess, everyone is attracted to Yuuki, even a girl. I’m glad about it too, her voice really shows what kind of character she is. Spoilers, I have a bad experiences with spoilers. Almost every shows that I watched in the past have been spoiled, mostly by myself, LOL. That’s why I keep mentioning about spoilers in almost all posts that I write.
I don’t think I’m ready to watch Special A again. Been too busy lately. Maybe I’ll wait for the anime to end and marathon it later.

um…I don’t know who doesn’t like cute characters…LOL! Maybe some people got different tastes? LOL! Haha…almost every vampire wants Yuuki’s blood, I find it very funny though… I bet that if you don’t mention about spoilers in your posts, people might think you’re okay with it and start spoiling you…
Oh I see, but Special A really took a looong time to get better though…they spent too much episodes on introducing the two main characters, honestly…*sighs* I really saw others dropping it before they even start introducing the others… *sighs again*

@ wenwen: That’s why I always mention spoilers in my post, even though I’ve never been spoiled by comments on my posts. I’m THAT scared of spoilers (not really). Then again, who reads my posts anyway..lol.
But Special A is still not as good as Ouran right? Until then, I will wait for it to end first. Unless everyone in the blogosphere starts talking about it. Yea, and I’m one of those people.

Um…I read your posts, LOL ^_^
Ya, Special A is not as good as Ouran, because I really think Special A focused on romance than comedy (although some said it focused on comedy, I felt that it focused on romance more), and ya, I know that you are one of those, LOL! I remembered I was laughing like crazy when I watched Ouran, especially the Tamaki parts. And also the part when Kyouya lost his cool and Honey became scary. And also when Tamaki kept ‘harassing’ Haruhi and the daddy, mummy, daughter, brothers and neighbours part. And the twins part…Actually…it’s basically everything, LOL!

Oh yea, I forgot..haha..^^
Yea, Ouran is still the best. Even if Special A becomes good someday, still, nothing beats Ouran. In terms of comedy, nothing can beat Ouran, the funniest anime I ever watched. My favorite character has to be Kyouya, for various reasons. But ALL the host club members have something that I like about them.
If only there will be a 2nd season. The series really deserves a 2nd season, more than any other anime on my list. If there will be a 2nd season, I will be VERY happy. Ouran FTW!

Ya, this series really deserves a 2nd season, many fans are waiting for it, including me and you of course, LOL! Can’t wait to see Tamaki’s ‘idiotic’ actions again ^_^ My friend did not watch it because he said that it’s shoujo, but I borrowed him my Ouran manga and he was dying from laughter when he saw all the funny jokes and puns. There is a game for Ouran though, but I did not have it…ahaha…
