I must say, the figure looks a hell lot nicer in real life. I’m not saying this just because I bought it but I feel the sample photos provided to me when I pre-ordered it really did not do it justice. So much so that I was genuinely surprised when I finally felt the solid feel of the box in my hands. ^^

So time to unbox my Haruhi.
Let’s take a closer look.
Kinda creepy to see body parts like that no? Imagine seeing life-sized ones in the middle of the night *shudders*
And here’s the stand which she stands on.
I got Haruhi to do a few poses for us.

Haruhi suddenly demands that she wants a change of clothes.
She then proceeds to give us a few more poses of her great self.
Haruhi then demands that I bring her outside since she was stuck in a box for so long. Well, who am I to deny her?
Well, she looks happy now. ^^
Haruhi soon grows bored (uh-oh bad thing!) and asks to try out the exercise stations.
I told her she was too small to use them but she just got angry at me. T_T
We went to try them out but the result was predictable.
Inspired by my taking pictures of her, Haruhi mysteriously changes back to her winter uniform and decides to do a play! She even has a script ready! =_=”
I asked her what would the play be about and she said it would be about herself playing at the playground. =_=”
I asked if she was serious. Her face says it all. And where did she get that yellow paper loud hailer from anyway?
Haruhi mysteriously changes into her summer uniform and tells me to film properly.
I had to stop her from jumping down the slide though.
I finally convinced her to return home. At least she’s happy.
Though on return, Haruhi immediately commissions Exia to bring her out for her next trip outside. Looks like Haruhi’s set to rule my display cabinet for some time to come.

Well, this post is partly inspired by Danny Choo’s “A Week in Tokyo” posts where he brings his figures around and takes photos of them along with the sights and sounds.
This is the first time I took a figure outside for a photo shoot and it is pretty embarrassing. Luckily it’s a sunday with barely anyone around. ^^
Stay tuned for my next figurine which is my Figma Nanoha. She’s another piece of win. ^^
