More GDH/Gonzo updates - Strike Witches to air simultaneously , Druaga sequel in 2009

GDH, the parent company of the Gonzo anime studio, announced that the Strike Witches television series will premiere on Japanese airwaves on July 3 and will also play overseas on the YouTube and Crunchyroll video-sharing websites.

The final episode of Tower of Druaga ~Aegis of Uruk~ has confirmed a sequel in the making, it is tentatively to premiere in 2009.

Strike Witches will be a story about girls who has magical powers in an alternate reality in the 20th century, the powers disappear as the girls grow older (wow?). The typical girls equipped with “mecha” to save the world from enemy attacks will start airing soon. Keep a lookout at Crunchyroll and Youtube if you are planning to stream online
