LOS ANGELES, July 2 — Square Enix, Inc., the publisher of Square Enix(TM) interactive entertainment products in North America, announced today that it will release CHRONO TRIGGER(R) in North America this Holiday season.
If you have checked Square-Enix’s site some time back, you would have noticed an obvious hint of Chrono Trigger coming to the Nintendo DS platform. Definitely a “WOW!! WOO HOO” response for CT fans.
With its remake on the DS, you will expected touch screen interactivity and dual screen gameplay and according to ANN, a brand new dungeon (as expected from remakes) and a wireless mode will be featured. Not sure what this wireless will do but prolly you get to control another character in battle mode.

I’m thinking they’ll just do what they can to slap on some catch words but still end up as total milkage of a respected series.

Well, at least they’re starting to make more games of other respectable series like chrono trigger, like they did with front mission ds. I wonder if they’ll ever do a gun hazard remake?

Honestly this news made me shit myself. The Fact that they are doing something with this game again makes me so happy. Is really my favorite RPG ever and I am ecstatic.
