This is definitely good news! As announced on Frontier Works, 07th expansion’s mystery suspense doujin game - Umineko no Naku Koro Ni has been annouced to get a tv anime series. The story in general is about a mystery killing that takes place on an island - Rokkenjima in  1986.

if u are a fan of higurashi no naku koro ni for its suspense, this is definitely a must watch!

on a side note, higurashi no naku koro ni OVA will be getting its release this winter.
