You can never have too much of them…
It would seem I made too hasty a conclusion in my previous Hidamari post.
So I’ll do another to clarify and throw in more nutbladder pics! :D

Yeah, Miyako shows you exactly how I feel……
Previously, I concluded that Hidamari Sketch x365 would likely be a prequel of sorts for first season. Well, Episode 2 swiftly proved me wrong as we immediately fast forwarded back to where Season 1 left off.
The new characters get some screentime and we get to see Chika, Sae’s younger sister who appeared in Season 1 episode 12, in action. Seems like she changed her hair colour?

Left: Season 1, Right: Season 2
We have Kuwahara sensei who looks to be the school nurse (or doctor).

She looks more like a doctor to me so I guess she’s a doctor.
And Natsume who as a character makes absolutely no sense to me regarding her role in this show so far.

All she does is appear, attempt to snipe at Sae then run off embarrassed. Maybe later we’ll know her purpose.
Yoshinoya sensei and the Principal are doing the same old as usual…

“Do you have a problem with my unusually long head Yoshinoya-sensei?”
Sae is reserved and shy about her feelings as usual…

She’s so cute when she blushes.. Reminds me of the Sae cosplayer in Cosfest.
Hiro continues to lose to her appetite depsite her diet…

“There’s still dessert…”
Miyako continues to be random and pokes fun at Hiro’s appetite…

“There’s ALWAYS food in your room.”
Which results in swift punishment.

[Just some thoughts]

RAWR!
Everything I loved about Hidamari Sketch is back. Light-hearted slice of life coupled with SHAFT’s trademark use of symbolism makes for an amusing and refreshing watch. This is definitely one of my favorite shows this season.

All Hidamari related stuff must end with a scene of Yuno in the bath.
