My Lucky Star love knows little bounds and I sure as hell ain’t missing this one after I missed the first season.
“Arrr mee hearties! What ya see before ye is treasure!”
My wallet screams in pain but my heart screams for joy. Such is the conflicted feelings of those buy figurines and stuff like this. Well, that’s how I feel anyway.
So I wonder who will be the first to see the light of the world after being sealed in a box?
As luck would have it, Konata in Winter uniform is! Konata in maid uniform is cute too and I found her in the exact same position as shown in the picture when I opened the box. Almost like she was was saying “Welcome to my world!” when I popped her out. =P
Yutaka is easily the cutest of the bunch and the pictures make it obvious why. She’s almost sweet enough to eat. Cheerleading outfit is uber cute.
Then there’s Minami. She’s got herself a somewhat shy and questioning look and an embarrassed look which is obviously so like her. I wonder why a PT kit though. I think a pair of Yutaka and Minami in that Zuka outfit from episode 24 would be a much better set.
Of course, we mustn’t forget Hiyorin our Lucky Star Fujoshi. Probably the most plain of the lot with her coming in the summer version of the school uniform though to be honest, she didn’t exactly appear in much else in the show.
And finally, Kuroi-Sensei!!! The only member of the Lucky Star gang I do not have since I was late in getting this set. Gotta say the one on the right is pretty interesting.
And of course, whenever you buy a full set, there always a special as well as an extra one. As you can see, it’s Konata in Saber cosplay. I’m sure the real deal (i.e full nendoroid) is much better but I’ll be happy with what I have. As for the extra, I got another Hiyori in winter uniform.

It shouldn’t be surprising that these figurines can’t stand on their own since their anatomical proportions obviously do not allow that. However, apparently those with ahoge like Hiyorin can.
I need to clear out some space in my display cabinet. I must be the only one in Singapore who has Gundams and Lucky Star figures placed side by side on display. >_<”
