Konata x Kagami is <3
All the way from Japan and right into my room, Lucky Star is here!
Click on to see me turning my room into a Lucky Star shrine!
For those of you who paid attention to oOgA’s small little post on KKnM’s Chara Fest 2008, you would know where this came from.
Among the list of items available, only the Lucky Star stuff interested me (big surprise). While I knew the event is quite popular and I heard a few rumours that people were queuing up at 4pm the day before (the event starts at 12pm), I didn’t believe it until I saw this post.
Needless to say, most of the stuff were sold out before I got there.
I guess this is when Konata would say:

Yes I didn’t have enough love……orz…
Depressing things aside, let’s take a look.
The box is decorated all over with delicious pics of the Lucky Star gang. So cute I could almost eat the box. But I won’t of course.

Oh Konata…

(^_^)b

The treasure box opens!

One of the eight boxes the posters came in
To be honest, when I read the description “Stick Poster”, I was wondering what it actually was. Well apparently it meant that the posters were rolled up. Like a stick. Uuuh…right. Anyway, each big box had 8 of the above boxes in it. In each of the 8 boxes were 2 posters, 1 in matt finish and 1 in a shiny finish. There are a total of 14 different designs for each type so that means you have to buy 2 full boxes in order to get a full set.
Not that I could anyway. My wallet is pretty much in a state of anorexia with just 1 box.
Let;’s check out the posters. The one on the left in all pictures is the shiny one.

Mmm….Mizugi Konata…

Moar Konata…And Tsukasa. Patz would be so happy.

Hiiragi Sister in Miko!… And Kagamin is love <3

Ayano……And Christmas Konata, Kagami and Tsukasa. Miyuki never gets any love.

If you think that’s a duplicate, you’re right. And Konata in that pose is love <3

This time shiny Kagami. And our shy Minami.

And here’s the Miyuki love <3

Moar Tsukasa and Konata
I’m sure you’ve noticed by now that I have a few duplicates. These are mainly the same design but with different finishes. So here’s a comparison with Konata (who else?).

Left: Shiny, Right: Matt
Granted it is abit hard to see the difference with a camera but I’m sure you’ve noticed the reflection at the bottom left.
Now I have something awesome to wake up to everyday.

Konata agrees.
Oh, and I just got news that my Hiiragi Miko sisters are coming in next week. This on top of the coming COMEX 2008 which is one of Singapore’s quarterly computer fairs.
As Patz would say, EPIC WALLET DRAINAGE!!!
I would prefer it to happen to him than me of course >_>
