Macross Frontier reach new epic emo heights …

This has to be the best episode in Macross Frontier and yet perhaps our sadest episode among Macross Fans. No, it is not Ranka or Sheryl but Michael who stole the limelight.

An epic death

Our hero for the week - Michael who sacrificed himself for Klan Klan as she was undergoing in the Macron Chamber while undergoing transformation. The helpless Klan could do nothing but watch as her beloved gets blown into the stars.

On a sidenote, Klan Klan confessed her love to Micheal before his death in her loli form…yes..another epic moment.

On another sidenote, Sheryl managed to pick herself up from despair and “self proclaims” as the Songstress of Despair, much to the contary of Ranka Lee who is the Songstress of Hope. o_O
