CLANNAD After Story reaches an epic level…with Sunohara Youhei…
WTF?!
oOgA: I am glad that Youhei got some of his own tribute episodes but I didnt expect that Sanae will actually volunteer to pretend as his girlfriend. The epic level juz reach another height in a wrong way. It was definitely funny and amusing, especially with the costumes that Sanae dawned upon. (gah!). Perhaps nutcase23 might shed some light on what he thinks about Sunohara-san ?
nutcase23: Well, watching Sunohara getting the smackdown is a reminder to the good old days of the Tomoyo combo counter. Seeing Kyou doing her trademark Dictionary attack along with a follow up kick was epic. However, I can only hope they don’t go too overboard with it as this can get old pretty quickly. More importantly, I’m curious with regards to what was shown in the preview for episode 3.
oOgA: Well, he is still getting smacked around by Tomoyo x Kyou. kicks + books aint going well on him but I am a tinge of feeling that KyoAni maybe wrapping a few thing about Sunohara before moving on the next few episodes.
nutcase23: Looks like Mei is jealous to me and Sunohara is getting depressed. Is this going to be a Sunohara X Mei ending?!?!? And as a side note, Ryou going “uwawawa~” at the proposition of being Sunohara’s “fake” girlfriend gives me the impression that she still harbours feelings for Tomoya. Especially with the way she looked at him sideways. Seems she can’t do it if Tomoya is around. XD
oOgA: We will never know, perhaps the next episode will be Sunohara goes Pedobear? Regardless, KyoAni’s decision to go into Sunohara/Mei arc and the way of making it such a comedy is epic
