Well, one of them anyway. You think I would ditch Haruhi? NEVAAARR!!

Ahem..back to the point. After, the end of Misae’s arc last week, we now move on to Yukine’s arc, which was said to be one of the main arcs, but for some reason, they made it into a side arc. Nevertheless, main arc or side arc, as long as it’s epic, I approve of it. Let’s get started then. ^_^

As usual, we see the Illusory World at the beginning of the episode. But, this time it’s different, different from the usual happy (o rly?) scenes. In this episode we see the robot worrying about something. He/it mentioned something about “If we don’t hurry, we’ll be too late”, as if something’s gonna happen to them if they don’t move soon. Move where? That’s something that all of us want to know. Excluding game veterans, and people who knows the whole story of course.

You’re pretty, and you can cook. That’s all I need.^^

lol, there’s a gas cooker in the reference room? Plus, there’s a coffee machine as well? This makes me wonder, does Yukine live there? Well, we all know that she just spends most of her time there. And in this episode, we finally know why…

Btw, Yukine looks cute in outfit.^^

That kind of excuse is sooo over-used..

    OMG, I’m teh rejected..again..

We all know that Sunohara’s a hopeless guy who loves any girl that comes in contact with him. Let’s leave it at that.^_^

And Yukine rejected him without mercy. I mean, she didn’t even blinked while rejecting him..and I’m not making fun of her..

*looks at Yukine* You’re not thinking of anything perverted, right? Good.

Seems like Yukine is taking care of some real manly guys, who seems to treat Yukine very well, and he’s not the only one. Thus, we have solved the mystery behind the reason why Yukine’s in the reference all the time. She has her own harem!

That pose makes him looked naked..ugh..

Btw, this spell actually works, and you can apply it to real life, most of the time. It depends on who told you to do it, the level of your worries, and who you are. In other words, it works when you want it to (lol). And I’m serious here..

They call her ‘Yuki-nee’, get it? Yea, I have a lame sense of humor..

So, Yukine is an ‘aneki’, and she serves as a healer for these guys whenever they’re in a fight. I LOL’d when I heard that. It’s not often you see someone getting into a fight, then getting healed (visiting Yukine in this case), and then continues figthing. Not without the healer telling them not to fight anymore. Never..

It’s rare enough to see an ‘aneki’, since we usually see an ‘aniki’ in anime. And the aneki here is Yukine, read: Yukine. NOT expecting that at all. She’s the last person I’d expect to be in such position. Well, this makes things interesting, isn’t it?

    They sure love that window..

It’s funny how the opposing gang member respects Yukine as much as Sudou and his gang members, despite the fact that Yukine is the ‘aniki’ of his enemies. Yukine’s kindness can weaken anyone.

You can’t cross the river. So how does ’staring at each other’ solve anything..lol.

I don’t approve of gang fights no matter what. Because it’s stupid and pointless. But ‘fighting’ is the main theme of many anime. So I learned to live with it, and now I like it.^^

But still, I don’t want any fighting in real life..

Yukine not in the reference room? That’s a first.

And for some reason, she looks cuter outside the reference room (lol). I want to see more of them hanging out together even after Yukine’s arc is done.

    *shakes fist* (reasons below)

I have no idea whether to RAEG at Yuu-kun for being so disrespectful to Yuki-nee, or to RAEG at him for being able to get in such an….interesting position with Yuki-nee, and get away with it because of his young age. :p

    copy & paste

    *sigh*

We all know far too well that those words will only lead too trouble. After all, it’s not the first time that a joke went out of hand.

    You got it wrong there..

Sis-con huh.. Well, let’s talk about sis-con then. Someone who has ’sister complex’ means that he/she (lol) is attracted to his/her sister in a way that siblings shouldn’t, often saying that they’re being ‘over-protective’ as an excuse. The sis-con concept is very common in the anime world, and it became popular since it’s introduction in Da Capo, or even way before that. Examples of other anime that uses the sis-con concept are True Tears (JunxNoe) and this season’s Akane-Iro ni Somaru Saka (JunichixMinato).

But in this case, ’sis-con’ is not the right word to use. I never heard of a sis-con involving a younger brother and an older sister, it’s usually the other way around, but it does exist, just not in the anime world. Heck, I don’t think that the kid is interested in girls yet, the picture above the above picture proves it.^^

    Sunohara GAR mode!

Every time Sunohara makes serious statement, the word ‘GAR’ comes to mind, even though he is the exact opposite of it most of the time. In this case, all the things that he went through with Mei in previous episodes had a big impact to him. It’s like family is the top priority for him, thanks to what have happened before.

    Oh no, it’s too late..

You should idolize the person in front of you, not the person beside you. Btw, the kid should be in elementary school, right? So how did he get here…

    As they open the door…

They saw gang members everywhere, and thus, Sunohara got scared.

And they are greeted by the nice people inside.

They’re actually pretty nice, despite being labeled as ‘gang members’, having scary faces, and getting involved in fights often. For them to treat people like that, it’s very nice. Maybe Yukine tamed them somehow..lol.

Speaking of Yukine, are these the only friends Yukine has besides Tomoya and his harem (Sunohara included)? Interesting..

Remember this guy. Yep, he’s one of Yukine’s buddies.

And it seems that Sunohara made some nice friends as well.^^

Haha..that’s what you get for impersonating someone with a high position. And this is the least of your problem…

It seems like a trend in CLANNAD..

    And Tomoya approves of it.

Talking about fighting with parents reminds Tomoya of his father, who we haven’t seen in a long time. Whether he feels guilty after hearing what Yukine said, or whether he feels angrier, that’s up to him. Tomoya’s problems will be solved later. It’s one of the things that made Tomoya unique from other harem leads, and one of the things that I’ve been looking forward to in CLANNAD ~After Story~.

Now, let’s look at what kind of fun they had at the bar.

Sunohara is forced to have fun..lol.

Both of them are getting along well for some reason. I approve.

You’re in a position where everyone dreams of being in.

The limitations of having a girlfriend. Unforgivable!

Good thing that she understands that when a man needs it, he needs it (yea, even I don’t get it).

Nagisa? Singing? That’s a very rare sight to see, considering the fact that Nagisa is very shy.

Sunohara’s level of resistance towards pain amazes me.

    See?

Yukine as a bar hostess..I approve (been saying that a lot now).

So..Kozato Kazuto has been hiding all this time (lol). I’m guessing that these people don’t even know how Kazuto looks like, but they still acknowledge him as their leader. Nah, that can never happen, this is not Code Geass. The guy’s identity is still a mystery…

Guy 1: We’re gonna beat you all up, with the exception of Yukine-san of course.

Yep, it’s official, everyone’s afraid of Yukine. Since if anything happens to Yukine, they have to face teh ME. Well, as if I can do something about it. But a certain someone can.^^

You have no idea who’s in there..

A strong kicking sound? People flying around? Shining effects? That looks awfully familiar.

    Yep, it’s Tomoyo!

Only Tomoyo can be a girl and walk around at night at the same time. Nothing can beat Tomoyo’s kicks. Although, Kyou’s a good rival for Tomoyo. Speaking Kyou, WHERE IS SHE??? I need my weekly dose of Kyou love…

With that, the episode ended.. Well, it’s not normal for KyoAni to just end an episode just like that. But nevertheless, it was a great episode, and so will the next one.^^

    A bridge + Rain + Yukine + Sadness + Tomoya – Nagisa = Love scene..

A huge gang fight is expected.

This looks interesting. I’m looking forward to some Okazaki action.

Sudou: Yukine, taihen da! (so obvious..)

    WHO DARE DID THIS!!???

Wow, next episode is going to be amazing. Judging from the preview, looks like the real thing starts next week. Whether Kazuto will make an appearance or not, we’ll see. I’m more interested in why Yukine is crying.. Who ever that did it, he’s gonna get it. Well, look forward to next week!

Btw, regarding this episode, game veterans say that KyoAni is putting a lot of anime original stuff in Yukine’s arc. Different story, no gang war in game, Yuu’s problem was solved differently, no bar in game were some of things mentioned. It’s great and all but I hope that KyoAni won’t change the ending, as you know that doing so will fail most of the time. But it’s KyoAni, and they’re awesome at everything. So, I’m really looking forward to how things gonna turn out in the end. Till next week then.^^

Side Note: Wow, this post only took me 4 hours to write. Usually it’ll take me somewhere between 6 – 10 hours. It’s a new record!^^
