This episode marks the end of Yukine’s arc, and I have to say, there were some pretty surprising turn of events that took place in the episode, including a certain cameo (lol). After watching the episode, my opinion on Yukine have changed, no longer will I think of her as a normal girl, or should I say, a weird girl who is interested in magic tricks…

Well then, feast your eyes on my rather failed attempt at writing an intelligent post..^_^

    Tomoya, why you…

LOL, here are one of the ’surprising turn of events’ that I mentioned above, the ‘lap pillow scene’. This scene was in the visual novel, and I never would’ve thought that it will be in the anime as well. I mean, Tomoya has Nagisa, who follows him around everywhere. Whereas in the visual novel, you get to choose only one of the girls, and if you choose Yukine, this scene happens. Tomoya already chose Nagisa, so any romantic scene involving girls other than herself won’t happen to Tomoya.

But this time..it was Nagisa that suggested it. Well, Nagisa knows that Yukine is not a girl who would steal other people’s boyfriend, not to mention that she has more important things to worry about instead of involving herself in love matters. And maybe the spell won’t work if Nagisa replaced Tomoya, since this is a harem, and yuri is not an option, and neither is Sunohara. Not that I’m imagining things here…

Of course you don’t mind, damn it..

Behind the scene of last week’s epic showdown. TOMOYO KICK!

So..why did Sunohara’s room became a place for meetings again?

Seems like there are no other places to go to other than Sunohara’s room due to some unknown reasons since Sunohara’s room is quite small and neither it is comfortable. I don’t think Sunohara is ok with it as well judging from the above picture. Well, putting that aside, it seems that Tomoyo is involving herself in this since she’s asking them to explain the current situation. Speaking of that, I wonder how last week’s event turned out, I mean, it wasn’t a cliffhanger for nothing, there must be something that happened afterward.

Btw, Tomoyo doesn’t need to report to the police or do anything similar. She can just show up at any of the gang’s territory and those gangsters will be damn scared just by that. Some epic kicking is encouraged of course. So, why didn’t Tomoyo do so to stop the gang fights? I guess it’s because Tomoya won’t allow it to happen, since it’s a man’s responsibility to not let any woman to be involved in these things, since she might get hurt or something worse might happen to her (which is not possible).

The guy looks real awesome here

If you don’t want to get hurt, then stay out of harm’s way, really..

Is the thing you call ‘pride’ that important to those gangsters? So important that you let yourselves get hurt? I guess it is.. Even I won’t just sit down quietly after getting beaten up, that’s what being a man is all about (lol). But they should think about some plans on how to take revenge on those guys, instead of just barging in their territory and lose again. Speaking of that, why did Sudou and the guys lose terribly this time? It’s to advance the story of course. ^_^ Which brings us to the next scene.

Rain scenes are always epic for some reason..

After watching the episode for the 2nd time, this scene was more ‘emotional’. Tomoya wants Kazuto to persuade the gangs and stop the gang fights once and for all. Little did he know that the guy that he is talking about is already gone.. Hearing those words from Tomoya must have hurt Yukine, since she knows better than anyone that what Tomoya said is not possible. But she is more hurt because what Tomoya said reminds her of her brother, and what have happened to her borther, and it was hard for her to accept the fact that her brother is no longer there for her..

Only Yukine is brave enough to go here. Since those guys are not brave enough to do anything to Yukine

It was very brave of Yukine to go there, and she was planning to go there alone in the first place as well, but she is able to go there knowing the fact that those guys won’t do anything bad to her, despite her being in an enemy’s gang. But now the enemy’s gang are really angry due to the sudden appearance of her brother. So, there might be a chance that they will take Yukine as a hostage to go trap Kazuto. But she is so desperate to stop the gang fights that her fear of going there cannot stop her (if she had any in the first place).

    Why Yukine?

Why she stopped Tomoya from telling the truth? The misunderstanding might be solved if Yukine didn’t stop him. They would’ve known that Sunohara didn’t beat up their gang members and they have to think twice before going after Tomoyo. ^_^

    DOKONG!!!

Yep, it’s the guy from Air Gear

Compared to Tomoyo, Sasaki is nothing..

Yea, Sunohara should not be scared by the likes of these guys. You have been granted infinite HP so you can survive something like this, right? Compare to Tomoyo’s deadly 1000-hit combo kick, Sasaki is only chicken feed.. If Tomoyo can’t do it, nothing can.. Well, there are exceptions, such as..

    Akio: Omae ni RAINBOW!

    OMGWTFBBQIACANTBELIEVETHISISHAPPENING!

    YES! COMBINE!

You guys have no idea of what’s coming..

YES, this is what we all have been waiting for since Sanae’s bread made it’s first debut back in the season 1. A cameo appearance of another equally deadly food that is Akiko’s jam from Kanon. I can hear the scream and laughter from anime fans, especially KyoAni fanboys after watching this. Such epic combination can only happen once in a blue moon. And the result?

    Instant K.O.

    Height is nothing..not really..

So, Tomoya is the substitute for Sunohara. Hmm..Tomoya is definitely better in a fight than Sunohara, but can he really reach the same level as this guy? Putting that aside, this must be the part that KyoAni changed. I mean, the bread + jam thing can’t be in the visual novel as well. So that only means one thing, the bread alone can cause an instant K.O.. So, god knows what happened to them when they ate that epic combination of deady weapons of mass destruction.

    Say..didn’t you cause this? lol..

    Double K.O.!..I guess not..

After hours of intense fighting, they have decided to take a break..

Umm..what? A break? If your opponent is taking a break, this should be a chance for you to strike, not join him as well. It’s strange enough for the opponent to be asking you to take a break. Sigh..I can never understand gang fights..0_0

He’s here! But there’s something wrong..

    It’s because it’s not him.. Why Yukine….

Never I have seen Tomoya this angry before..

The only way to stop the fight was for Kazuto to appear, so Yukine did just that.. It worked, but in a different way. Yukine had no choice but to replace his brother since..

Her brother is no longer here. He passed away all along, and that fact was unknown to Sasaki and his gang. If they knew about it earlier, well..the gang fights will still continue or will become worse. The only way to stop the gang fights was to show them how much Yukine wanted to do so, as wished by her her brother.. And so, it ends well…

But really, Sudou and the gang should have stopped fighting if they knew about Kazuto’s wish..

    Yukine’s lightball GET

    No screencaps..

Yukine explained about the lightballs that we kept seeing lately. It plays a big role in CLANNAD from what I have heard, and it is visible to Tomoya. Yukine mentioned that it can grant wishes.. Other than that, the lightball is still a mystery to us. Hmm..I wonder if this have anything to do with the real After Story that’s coming? We’ll see..

Overall, KyoAni did a great job at animating Yukine’s arc. Although it’s different from the one in the visual novel, it still ended well, and that’s what’s important. ^_^

    Next Episode Preview

Graduation? Who needs that? I have my harem

    For a second there, I thought we’re gonna see Kyou’s arc again..sigh..

Yay Kyou! Your absence in recent episodes have made me lonely

This looks interesting. Judging from the preview, it looks like we’re going to see Tomoya’s arc or something like that. I’m sure that it’s not a side arc..so..does this means we’re finally moving to the real After Story? In other words, no more side arcs? Damn, I was hoping to see Kappei’s arc.. But that can’t be helped..

Well then, next week looks interesting since it deals with our harem lead, Tomoya. I don’t know what it is, or whether it involves his dad or not, the only thing the preview revealed was that next episode deals with graduation and what Tomoya is going to do after that. Which he is not sure of himself. Looks fun. Till next week then. ^_^
