Before I start things off, first of all, for those of you who doesn’t know yet, we moved to a new blog called The Banzai! Effect. Well, we didn’t really move though, it’s just that most of our articles (event coverage, anime news, figure review) will be posted there, while Anime Banzai! is only for Episode Reviews..which makes me kind of lonely since no one is accompanying me here..*sob* Unless any of you wants to join me, that is. ^_^

Hmm..they’re talking about flying and getting out of that place, so they made that thing. And they must do it fast before it’s too late. It’s still unknown where they wanted to go though, heck, we don’t even know where she currently is.. So, as we progress more in CLANNAD, we’ll soon find out the truth about the girl, the robot, and the Illusory World..

Heh, I can’t blame Tomoya on this one. I too have the same problem as Tomoya, not knowing what I want to do in the future. During Primary School, it was really easy to answer when the teacher asks what you want to be when you grow up. But now..it’s not that easy. I’m not in high school yet though, so there’s plenty of time to think about it.. But I must make my mind soon, my career, the courses I want to take in University, and making a decision on such things is hard..

That’s not a choice that you can make..

Sunohara – sense of humor (don’t want to call him ‘idiot’) + brains = model material!

Yea, seriously. I think he’s pretty good looking if you ask me, especially if you compare him to most male model nowadays.. Though, we know Sunohara, thus, we know that he’s not cut out for it. And in the anime world, good looking guys are everywhere..and if you mention girls, there are WAY too many of them out there. I can name 9 of them in CLANNAD alone. ^_^

How much I miss the days when they would hang out together like this..

The only difference this time is that they’re not hanging out because of the Drama Club (which I don’t know what happened to it..), it’s just because they’re friends. And even Tomoyo, who is busy all the time can take some time of to hang out with them.

Anyway, regarding Ryou’s prediction on Sunohara’s future, maybe it was wrong or something. It’s not possible for Ryou to make fun of Sunohara, or make fun of anything at all to be exact. But Kyou’s cute laugh seems to indicate something, like maybe Ryou’s predictions are usually wrong, and only right at certain occasions, when the time is right (lol). But if I remember it right, Ryou’s predictions are always right when I played Kyou’s route in the VN. So..maybe Sunohara really does have a future of being a model, not now, but maybe sometime later in the future. After all, Sunohara already has his own Fan Club. ^_^

Interesting..I wonder how it will turn out, considering her personality and all..

Tsundere teacher = Awesomeness!

Ryou will have a hard time working if she keeps up with her reserved personality, especially if she’s dealing with other people. As for Kyou, the kids will have a hard time handling her (lol). Damn, I wish she was my teacher. It would be my pleasure to come to class. Thank goodness kids have yet to learn to appreciate the true beauty of Kyou..

Speak teh English first before even thinking of going there

Well, I guess it means goodbye to Kotomi for awhile. No more violin abuse.. Speaking of that, I hope Kotomi can play the violin better when she comes back. Now that’s awesome..

Which reminds me, how different was Tomoyo before she moved to this school? In the 1st season, we heard that she was violent and feared before moving here. But when you look at her now, she’s just your average girl trying to blend in with her friends, minus her inhuman strength, lol.

I knew that her sickness will come again. I guess she really does have a weak body, just like most Key main girls, they have a ‘certain’ sickness as well. That reminds me, I wonder if there’s a background of her poor health, like the cause of it or something..

We caught a glimpse of Kyou’s real arc here. So I was hoping we get to see the rest of them.. But then again, that could never happen, not at this timing..(orz). And the School Arc is ending as well (double orz)

And here is what’s supposed to be the trigger for Kyou’s arc. As to why Kyou made Tomoya take care of Botan, even with teh Botan Doll, I don’t know. Maybe she’s scared of something that ‘might go wrong’ with Botan in the doll mode. Or she just wants to force Tomoya do stuff for her. ^_^

Umm..hide it under your desk or something, or leave it in the class locker behind you

In the visual novel, during the Graduation Arc, Nagisa is the main girl, right? So, I guess we won’t see this scene in the visual novel. And Tomoya would have to handle his problems alone.. That alone made the anime better than the visual novel. Having friends to look after you in times of need is a wonderful thing indeed..

Ok, I won’t complain about TomoyaxNagisa anymore, I’m convinced that they’re officially a couple now. Many time skips later, the Tomoya and Nagisa have become closer as a couple. Tomoya is keeping Nagisa company during one of Tomoya’s hardest time in life. And there’s no doubt that Nagisa is a strong girl, she is not the one to blame for her sickness, it’s just how life is.

Ascaloth mentioned that Nagisa’s relapse was triggered by her physically and mentally exhausting herself over the course of several draining events. This includes the conflict between the Sunohara siblings and the gang war, and all of them involves Tomoya getting in a fight, and Nagisa watches him in the distance.. That must have been some experience Nagisa went through, which triggered her sickness here.. That’s just a ‘maybe’ from me though..

See? Now this is what I want to see. Some real TomoyaxNagisa moments. No longer the shy couple I saw for the past 7 episodes. And..I’m getting kind of jealous here..-_-

They’re being real parents over here, even the GAR Akio is being one. I have to say, I like them like this. It shows that they really care for Nagisa, and even putting away they’re real personalities here. I respect them more now, for being one of the best anime parents out there.

I kind of understand how Tomoya feels here. Wanting to go to school together, wanting to go home together, even wanting to repeat school together, that’s just love, and it can’t be helped. Even though it’s hard to do so, Tomoya have to let it go and focus on his life more, just like how Akio and Sanae told him..

Speaking of that, repeating another year, again? Woah, that sure is something.. Especially for Nagisa, who will have to go through another year of schooling without Tomoya..

Where are your harems??

Now, it’s Tomoya’s turn to be in Nagisa’s place 33 episodes ago.. Been so long huh..

They threw a party to celebrate Nagisa’s birthday. Speaking of that, I never had a birthday party in like..more than 10 years..

Looking at the picture makes me sad. Most of the people in this picture will move on with their lives, which makes me wonder, will this be the last time we see them together like this? *sob*

All the events that happened from the beginning of the 1st season until now resulted in the picture above. Nagisa sure made some good friends, starting from Tomoya, and it grew from one person to another, and we saw them going through their hard times in life.. Will we see something like it again?

I knew that there’s something up with Koumura-sensei, like he might have a lot to do with the story in CLANNAD (he has his own arc). Tomoya mentioned here that Koumura-sensei was the one who made Tomoya and Sunohara met up the first time, when both of them got into trouble due to fighting, as it was explained in the Sunohara sibling’s arc a few episodes ago. If it is true, then Tomoya and Sunohara must thank Koumura-sensei for giving them one of the best gift anyone can give, friendship, and a fun life..

Sunohara..quiet, and just taking pictures of the girl without bothering them. Woah, that’s a first.

I forgot the fact that Yukine was younger than Tomoya..

Hmm..I wonder if the three of them (Tomoyo, Yukine, Nagisa) would get along naturally. Like hanging out together, replacing Tomoya’s place..

“If you can move forward, then you should” says Nagisa. Way to go Nagisa! I really really like her now. If there’s anyone in CLANNAD that has the most character development through out the show, it’s definitely Nagisa. She’s no longer the shy and reserved girl that she once was, now she’s a strong girl, who will keep trying at whatever she does, and can still smile while going through life’s hardships. This is the Nagisa that I like. *inserts Nagisa in top 10 fav characters list*

I envy you Tomoya..

With that, the episode ended.. Marking the end of the Graduation Arc, their School Life, and the beginning of the real After Story that will begin next week. I can’t believe this is ending…even if it’s just their School Life that is ending, it’s still sad to see it ending, and I’m happy at the same time because the moment that all of us are looking forward to, the real After Story is about to begin. We have gone this far, so we should stay till the end..

Yep, it’s finally here. Even the bgm during the preview is different. How will Tomoya decide on his future? How will Nagisa go through another year of high school? Will we see Kyou-sensei as early as in the next episode? All these questions need to be answered. So, stay tune for next week. ^_^
