This episode is all about the beginning of their new lives, and everything they have to go through in order to continue their lives. Tomoya, a high school graduate who is about to experience one of the hardest period of his life, and Nagisa, a girl who has to repeat her last year of high school for the 2nd time, without the person most important to her beside her. The story revolves around their struggles to get used to their new lives, while taking care of their relationship at the same time. This is the After Story, the true beginning..

Things are getting harder on the girl in the Illusory world, as she is getting weaker as time goes by. The reason is still unknown (to me anyway). But they have to get away from that place, as the situation will get worse if they don’t.

I know that this moment will come to them, but seeing them saying goodbye with my own eyes saddens me.. Will this be the last time we’ll see them like this? The question that was in my mind since last week… I know that it will never be the same…
This is the period that all of us will or have experienced. Even though it’s painful to do so, but we have no choice but to part ways to chase our own dreams. I have yet to experience it.. Most of my friends from my primary school went to the same high school as me, so I didn’t have the chance to say goodbye to them. As our time in high school goes by, our friendship gets stronger, and our separation will be more painful later.. I’ll have to get ready for it, 2 more years of high school left to go…
As much as Tomoya hates school, he still misses it. Or maybe he is still not used to not going to school, as he still hangs his school uniform there. I’m currently in school holiday mode, so I’ll better get used to getting up early before school starts next month.

Working at Furukawa Bakery is a pretty good idea. I’m sure that all of you know this is coming, but I didn’t..(lol)..
Being a working mom sure is tough. Plus, Sanae has 2 jobs, and a daughter to take care of, and Akio as well. She is still pursuing her dream on becoming a great kindergarten teacher. The least we can do is to let her do it, she deserves it after all the hard work she has done. I hope beloved Kyou can become a great kindergarten teacher like Sanae.
While her husband is wandering off somewhere..lol. And I don’t think this is the first time he did it, disappearing from the shop and all. Whatever he’s doing, I can’t help but to think that this might have something to do with the story…

A speech? Nagisa? Even though she is pretty brave compared to..Ryou, and she did gain more courage lately (previous episode), but giving a speech is not something she is capable of yet. But if she can’t even give a speech, then being in a play is going to be hard..

Despite being all high and mighty last week, Nagisa seems to have some trouble at school. She is lonely and she has no friends, while her drama club is not doing very well since there are no other members besides herself. The other students are looking down on her because she is repeating her last school year for the 2nd time, without knowing the true reason why she had to repeat her last year.. Sigh..

The room where so many happy memories were made.. But those happy days..are n more.. Without all of them there, the room is just a room, an empty room with a lonely girl in it.. And it’s not the same without the rest of her friends. No Sunohara making an idiot out of himself, no Kyou with her dictionary, no Ryou with her cards, no Kotomi with her violin, and no Tomoya.. Been a long time since we heard any news regarding Fuuko. To be honest, I actually miss her..(WHAAAT??). But it’ll be a bad idea for her to just appear out of nowhere.. But I have a feeling that we’ll see Fuuko again in the future, when the time comes..
After getting a job, it’s time for the next thing, finding a place to crash in. Despite comfortably being taken care by the Furukawas, it’s time to move out. Even I would do so, since being a freeloader is bad, and it would only trouble the Furukawas.. But living alone is a very hard thing to do, especially for me.. Since for some reason, I’m scared of being alone..lol..

They look..different somehow. They really do look like tertiary students, and no longer the high school students that we once knew. Maybe it’s because of the fashionable clothes and the sling-bag.. And maybe it’s because we already know that they’re no longer high school students. Anyway, they Kyou looks awesome!
Reunions with old friends (and still friends) are great, and this one is no exception. I’m looking forward to seeing all of them hanging out together again just like in the old days. It’s been only a week for us, yet I miss those good times already..
Didn’t think they’re gonna let Tomoya go this easily, especially Nagisa. But this should have been done a long time ago. Being independent is important. I wonder if the Furukawas will kick him out if he stays there for too long. BAD END. lol..

If it was the old Akio, Tomoya would be dead by now. I mean, that question came out of nowhere, and it’s AKIO we’re talking about, not just any other father. Any father will find it hard to let go of their daughter, not to mention Akio. Tomoya must have something wrong with his head for asking him that just like that. But surprisingly, Akio didn’t kill nor angry at Tomoya.. Things sure have changed…
On a side note, I love how they paused for a moment after Tomoya asked that question. The suspense!

Oh yea..Tomoya’s father.. Been a long time since we saw his face around.. I wonder if he’s still..nah, that can’t be. But yea, Tomoya should visit him once in awhile if it bothers him that much. Easier said than done huh..

First his job, then a place to crash in, but it’s too early to be thinking of having a family (you’re not even married yet). Tomoya is taking things too fast, just because he’s not under-aged anymore..lol.. But planning for the future is a good thing though.

Either Yoshino is working too hard, or something’s up with him, like why he’s so pissed off just because of a simple mistake. I’d like to think that Yoshino wants Tomoya to be careful by scolding him, but that’s not the case for a show like this.. I think that we’ll be seeing a lot more of Yoshino for a few more episodes…
LOL, Tomoya is too tired from work to care for Nagisa.. We know where this is going, but I hope it’s not true.. I hope Tomoya’s career doesn’t affect his relationship with Nagisa..
And that ends this week’s CLANNAD ~After Story~. If some of you think that this episode is kind of ‘bland’ compared to the previous ones, yes it is. We’re just in the beginning after all, and the best is yet to come.

Everyone’s gonna say “I’m sorry” next week, lol. I guess their new life is still hard for them.. These 2 episodes are just the ‘transition’ episodes, so I doubt that something big is gonna happen next week. But CLANNAD is always fun to watch, and that’s a fact. Till next week then. ^_^
