At last, we are moving on to a brand new year – 2009! The Banzai! team wishes everyone a Happy New Year and best wishes for all in the days to come and yes, while it doesn’t look dramatic or whatsoever, today shall also be the day where our very own site – “The Banzai! Effect” is “officially launched”

Our new site is currently pending approval in our news aggregator – Animeblogger and Animenano. I am hoping they will approve it soon ;(
Anime Banzai! will remain but change into a dedicated site on anime – yes, back to the where it belonged – Anime episode thoughts and reviews.

“what is this banzai effect!?”
A couple of days ago, I have announced a new “project” in the making and this project will be be a major significance that marks the difference between this site and the new project site – The Banzai Effect
Deep in somwhere within the Banzai! labs, a mysterious project is taking form combined with noob effects. Indeed, a new project is taking place and I am hoping it will grow into a successs (or rather…achieved).
Some controversy that rose to the irregular updates of Anime Banzai! and there were people who asked me if I am continuing Anime Banzai! with some mistaking it as I am leaving Anime Banzai!, the answer is “I am not leaving Anime Banzai!” but there will be changes, both in content, layout.
If you recalled of what I said before about things getting a lil complicated here, it is time to narrow things, yes, the time is near.
Anime Banzai! is where I started being serious in managing with a blog and picking up expereinces with wordpress and many more, adding on the fact with the generoristy of Maestro who provided a free hosting for anime bloggers, it is a sin if I just left like that. Anime Banzai! is here to stay and there will be changes to it.

The official website of ef – a tale of melodies. television series is streaming the first episode in Japanese for free on Wednesday, and it applies for every episode for one day each. The good news for this is that it seems to have no ip restriction ( the common thing is to restrict to japanese ip addresses).
In addition, the official website has a link for you to downloading the opening video in normal 640×480 or a higher resolution of 900×676.
Bluray version of ef will be launching in 26th Dec.

SG Fans of Macross Frontier or perhaps fans of May’N rejoice!! The pop diva will be performing LIVE in AFA’08 right in Singapore and she will be performing the songs from Macross Frontier.
holy omg wtf h4x…a fat hope that I am hanging on is that macross F goodies will be selling there, I am sure to buy them. =p
