H2O didn’t literally rock my soul, but it did make it rumble. Our main character is Takuma Hirose, who is blind for unknown reasons. In the beginning narration by Takuma, those words came from the poem “Footprints.” The poem is also sometimes called “Footprints in the Sand.” Maybe that’s how H2O ~Footprints in the Sand~ got it’s title.
Ayakashi was one of those early debuts of the fall season. As you know, it is about parasitic life forces that give super powers to their beholder and in return get to have the host’s entire life. What drag me into this was the opening theme “Cloudier Sky” by Ayane. A sad feeling this song gives off yet with an upbeat rhythm to it. I even rip it off the episode.
Shion beats Honma in a shouji battle known as “The Boy Genius VS The Girl With Strategy.” The bad part is in the middle of the match Honma had wrote the symbol for king on his forehead which made Shion remember the day of her parents murder. Looks like the murderer is making his move toward Shion. The focusing on the phone made matters even worse because I knew it meant that he would call her and so he did at the end of the episode.
Let’s go swimming in the air! Well not with that thing though.
Every episode leaves me with the “WTF!?” feeling. First off you have a ghost that can engulf you. And the ghost is the one who kidnapped Taro and his sis when they were younger, but now he has become a vengeful spirit going around cursing people. When he is not, he just keeps repeating getting run over by a truck. So Taro, Makoto, and Masayuki go to investigate. Seeing him makes all this rage build up in Taro evolving him while he is in one of his out of body experiences. When the ghost starts chasing Masayuki after throwing Makoto, somehow Masayuki congers up his gaming system and blasts him into a ball of fire.
Ayumi will be facing against Shion’s dad, Shinji. This shougi round was between Saori and Kamizono. Saori beat him. Not really an interesting episode to watch, but whenever Kamizono did his mean face, Scary!
What we have long awaited for. The arrival of Pheles. Too bad it will taken a two week break. In the preview, Magery is gonna go berserk because of seeing Yuji’s flame color. Ogata gets swallow in flames right in front of Tanaka. Why did they have to take a break when the climax was just beginning?
I keep on laughing when I heard the english dub voice of young Lelouch. The dub will never and I mean never be as good as Japanese. Everytime I watch it, I burst out with laughter. They ruin it. C.C. voice is alright. But for young Lelouch, it sounds so wrong!!! Lelouch only has a little part which sounds good to me. Suzaku actually has a good one too. Clovis is just BAD!
If you were to buy this, do not watch it dub because you will be making the biggest mistake. America does not know what it is doing when it comes to dubbing. The acting sounds fake. Will there ever be a dub good enough to watch or even better than the Japanese? Like that would ever happen.
At the end of the episode, it’s hinting that Pheles will arrived in the next. The preparations for the Romeo and Juliet play and festival are done. Shakugan no Shana has gone down to the dump from season 1 to a wannabe high school drama thingys or whatever you call them. What happen to Shana saying “shut up” all the time? The Tomogaras? Are they too afraid to come? Most of it were fillers. To summarize this: Silver! Pheles! Sleep!!
I especially like this episode because of the beginning scene with Kureha and Itsuki. Then when Kureha went right through Itsuki I cracked up. When you think this has gone sour, it comes back with another good episode. Will there ever be an episode where the use of Glam Sight won’t be needed?
Itsuki is getting all the girls since he is the only guy who isn’t an adult like Nekoyashiki working at Astral. It is bound to be that all of the girls will fall for Itsuki and Itsuki’s personality is what draws them in.
A christmas theme for the next episode. “A Requiem Offered on Christmas Eve” That reminds me: Merry Christmas Everyone!
