  My initial thoughts before SOY were as such - “I was in NP, how come I’ve never heard of the “Tsubasa Club” and such?”, “A Cosplay event in the mid-western region of Singapore on campus grounds, just how many people will turn up?”.

To my surprise, the event was relatively well organized, and a decent number of cosplayers and photographers showed up. Not as many gothic-lolitas this time, shall not go into the possible reasons for such.

Postman -loli + van staff of teleportation

Phrase that caught my attention: “There are some things that can only be said after one’s death”. Go figure.

Although it has been out for some time, I only got the chance to catch it now. And I must say, the ending is one hell of a shocker. Don’t read this if you don’t want spoilers ^^.

Before i started watching this, I kept thinking to myself - “hmm, deathletter, how creative is this show gonna get?” With all that moè from 2007, I’m looking forward to some GAR and DRAMA and hopefully some suspense. H2O has covered the DRAMA and fanservice sectors, so how is Shigofumi going to compliment the mix of 2008? Read on to find out!

Recent holidays proved to be a bumming paradise. Sadly, my N73 is rebelling, it constantly refuses to hook up with my PC, it hangs right before i take a picture, or the joystick refuses to co-operate with my intended directions. I need a camera, and I need one now. I also am short of an mp3 player, a portable gaming console, a Shana plushie and more.

Do not refuse your inner-star’s desires and Right-Click-Save-Picture already.

What I’m not short of, is anime goodness ^^ and no I’m not talking about Box-sets of =Xedo= VCDs or R1 DVDs, nor Dakimakuras with Sanzenin Nagi all over - I speak of the REAL THING. Hint: Azuma Kazuma, Nana & Izumi Konata

Many many kino trips have passed. Many many manga purchases made. Latest purchase: CompAce Jan`08!
Always feels warm and fuzzy to buy an issue of 2008 when New Year’s is still a week away.

Apparently, I missed out on the Comptiq Jan`08 release at KKnM and will thus have to wait until next friday after Christmas to get it from Kino. For those who like to get their Comptiqs from Kino, that’s the date to get it!

I am finally blogging! Backlogged style! So much to catch up on.

EOY was fun - I bet everyone saw the Honey-senpai and Mori-senpai stack-up! 本当　かわいい！ They were the main reason i plucked my lazy ass away from a screen and from playing Ar Tonelico 2 for an entire afternoon (Mori senpai = close friend of mine ^^).

Best cosplay of the day (unbiased) goes to Rei! I didn’t manage to get a solo photo though, i ran out of film -.-”! Check out DarkMirage’s blog for a nice shot of her cosplay.

Well yeah, I used film for EOY. Not the best option when one is trying to save money. And, because of film, I could only develop on Monday (2 days AFTER EOY), collect on Tuesday (I sent the film in late on Monday) and on Wednesday night, animeblogger lagged so bad that abanzai couldn’t even load on my browser. And I had to pay for everything. But that’s okay, cuz here are the wonderful photos!
