There has been a buzz going on about Hatsune Miku. I have no clue on who she is, all I know that she is the first mascot for Vocaloid2 which is a voice synthesizer for songs. While browsing around the internet, I saw something called Hatsune Mix! and that reminded me of Hatsune Miku. Guess what I find out, it’s a manga just for her!

[Manga Preview]

Vol1 of Ar Tonelico 2 manga will begin retailing on stores on 10th Nov 07 at a price of 590yen.

Authored by the Aya Megumu, the same person who did Ar Tonelico ~arpeggio~, the story is of course, like what it is mentioned in the game.

A tale that revolves aroud the 2nd tower in Ar Ciel and land stricken with IPD (Infel Phira Dependency), an epidemic that ravages the minds of Reyvatails.

I have never read arpeggio before, this is pretty much tempting itself. Wonder if Kinokuniya will be selling it here….hope it would.

As Higurashi’s plot is unique in a way where the story sets the reader thinking while it take place in various arcs with different scenarios, each with a different ending.

Originally from a visual novel which was released in Comiket 62 (2002), the story spans with a few question arcs that sets the player thinking and finally the answer arcs in a collective title known as Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai.

There were manga exclusive arcs not found in the game (e.g. Onisarashi-ken 鬼曝し編) which is about the life of a resident in Hinamizawa after the Incident. Basically, those arcs add-on to the story from various perspectives.

A total of 6 manga titles in series with the first 4 question arcs, each arc with 2 volumes and the 2 answer arcs, each in 3 volumes (if i am not wrong as I have not read the manga for answer arc yet)

[万歳! Saturday- Manga Preview!]

I will start this section with one of my favorite mangas - Mahoraba. As you can see from the scan, the no. of girls is simply overwhelming. The manga’s done by Kojima Akira and was serialized in Square Enix’s Gangan Wing some time ago.

A total of 12 volumes, the story was later adapted into an anime by J.C Staff in 2005 known as Mahoraba ~Heartful Days~.

The story is about Ryuushi who inspires to be a picture book artist and enrolls in a art school in the town, he moved in to his cousin, Aoba Kozue’s apartment - The Narutaki-so. She is also the manager and in the aparment, there are other residents, each with an unique background and funny personality. Of course, there is something special about Kouze-chan which she does not know as well. Her personality changes into another person when she gets shocked or encounters extreme change of mood.
