Right in the heart of Akihabara on a busy Sunday, Tomohiro Kato rammed his truck at an intersection of a street, got out of the vehicle and start stabbing people without discrimination .

‘I came to Akihabara to kill people. It didn’t matter whom I’d kill,’ he was quoted by Jiji Press as telling police.

7 dead, with the youngest at 19 and the oldest at 74. Many others are injured and blood can be seen on the streets. The man dropped his knife only when the policeman pointed a gun at him.

The suspect, 25 and his motives are not clear.

A latest update from ANN included a finding from a news source, Jijipress

Titled “I will kill people in Akihabara,” was posted on a mobile phone bulletin board about seven hours before the fatal hit-and-run incident and the stabbing incident in Akihabara. The message reportedly reads:

I Will Kill People in Akihabara

I will come barging in with a vehicle, and if I can’t use the vehicle, I will use a knife. Farewell, everyone.

It is also exactly 7 years that Mamoru Takuma, who had a grudge against children stabbed 8 children to death. The murderer was executed by the law.

It is stunning in Japan for this to happen right in Akiba. Rest in peace for those innocent who died

“They” being Crystal Sky Pictures, which has just signed a five picture deal worth USD 200 million with Grosvenor Park.

According to Variety, the deal also covers the previously announced Castlevania film, which is being directed by Sylvain White.

No actor has been confirmed for PAC-MAN yet and how credible this news is, I aint sure about it. To be honest, a movie for Castlevania is possible but PACMAN!?  LOL?

I love Production I.G one of the best anime studios whose works can be called art. One of their first animes I saw was Patlabor and later Ghost in the Shell then the name Production I.G was engraved in my mind regarding that name as high-quality anime.

An American anime fan, Skye Lynn Budnick disappeared in Japan after buying a single way ticket. Family found a suicide note which she did not send.

The United States Consulate in Sapporo has asked that people with more information on Budnick’s whereabouts to call (011) 641-1115 (from overseas, call 81-11-641-1115).

A piece of news just because someone disappeared after leaving a suicide note ? I wonder will someone post news of me if I went missing? prolly not.
