Yes, it finally ended. There’s no epic cliffhanger this time, only an epic ending. I have to say, it has been an enjoyable ride from season 1 to season 2 (although I’m kind of late). But yea, I enjoyed it very much, thanks to the anime’s awesome plot, wide range of characters, epic ‘just as planned’ moments, and of course, Lelouch himself, who I now recognize as one of the best anime characters ever.
the ingredients for making it an epic series - Action, Moe, Plot, Musics, Character and flavorings
Note: Video is from Macross Frontier Ep18 OP.
The name “Macross” will ring any bell in perhaps.. any anime fan’s head, particularly those who started watching animes since the 90s and with its latest sequel - Macross Frontier, the fandom just grows out of amazing proportions decorated with news of record breaking sales and on the charts.
Some of you should know that I’m currently in the CLANNAD fever, ever since I started playing the visual novel. Maybe ‘obsessed’ with CLANNAD is a better word. At the same time, I’m in love with Fujibayashi Kyou, one of the girls in CLANNAD. So, you can say that this post is unavoidable, and is expected from me. In this post, I will talk about Kyou, her story, why she is awesome, and why you should love/worship her.
Actually, this is probably more along the lines of a short opinion write-up of 3 fanservice shows this season. And don’t worry, Ikkitousen is not one of them.
Harem lead, a character that is always present in an eroge/visual novel and the anime adaptation of it. If you didn’t know, they are the most important character in visual novels or an anime adaptation of it. I say that because most of the time, people tend to focus on the girls too much but forgets about the most important thing, the person that all the girls love, the person that you play as (visual novel), the person you will see every time, the person who ties all these things together.
I hate writing episode reviews. If you’re wondering why no one writes episode reviews on this blog recently, this post might answer some of your questions. If you want to know why I don’t write episode reviews any more, this post will tell you why. So, why do I hate writing episode reviews?
You know what, my blogging life/career started from writing episode reviews (Clannad, True Tears, and Hayate no Gotoku back then) and I have been writing them for about 6 months now (January - June). Actually, episode reviews are the only thing that I write about, until now that is. So, why do I hate it now? Honestly, I hate writing episode reviews since the beginning. I had no choice back then since episode reviews are the easiest thing to write about and the only thing I can write about, thanks to my lack of knowledge on otaku-related things.
Today, 2nd of July is the date when the anime, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya ended 2 years ago. Coincidently, my birthday falls on the same date. I’m officially 15 years old today!^_^
So, you can say that I’m writing this in conjunction with my birthday. Since there is no better birthday present than talking about my favorite anime character and my favorite anime series, not really. But if it’s Haruhi, it’s worth it.
