went down to the SOY cosplay fest 2008 happening in singapore today.i would say it was pretty interesting seeing all people from different ranges of age cosplaying in the same place xD of course, what caught most attention was the kids sitting right in front of me! (picture right below) since i was right behind them i managed to talk to them a little and get to know more about them ^^ for example the girl (left) is only a grade 2 student while the boy (right) is turning 5 this year!!!reason they’re cosplaying is because it’s a family thing. all their cousins are out cosplaying today as well!!! yups! managed to get to know their aunts and cousins and so on…well then, guess i’ll leave more of the talking to the photos i’ve taken today! do enjoy xP

My initial thoughts before SOY were as such - “I was in NP, how come I’ve never heard of the “Tsubasa Club” and such?”, “A Cosplay event in the mid-western region of Singapore on campus grounds, just how many people will turn up?”.

Went down to the SOY 08 Cosplay Event at Ngee Ann Polytechnic on the 26th of Jan and boy was I not disappointed! Although this is the first cosplay event I have ever participated, I must say the cosplayers and the organisers did a great job! Kudos to the Japanese Tsubasa Club a.k.a JTC (the organisers) for doing this event as well as the cosplayers who made my first cosplay event an immensely enjoyable one.
WARNING!!! Many pictures after the break!!! And they are not small either ^^
