the worst thing to happen when you blog, always save your draft !

[Impressions]
It is really funny yet a gentle reminder to bloggers as well, always save your draft ! You will never know what nonsense you will get when you click on that Submit button and for Kuroi sensei’s case? Yup! she got a “Page cannot be displayed” error (lol). Another funny scene was Konata transferring some files from different folders (prolly for a removable drive to a hdd) and just when she thinks that the time is decreasing, it shoots up ! bottlenecks do occur eh? ;) While this is the 2nd last episode, it doesn’t pack any intense emo moments (be it wacky or touching), I am wondering whats KyoAni’s intention eh? ;P

Lucky Star is ending at the next episode, it is pretty sad to see a brilliant series coming to an end but good things don’t last, based on the preview, it seems to be a school festival or some sorts….how will Lucky Star end? Will we get a touching ending or a wacky one ? Of course, we have our Lucky Channel too ! Will Akira and Shirashi get together again to conclude this brilliant anime. All will be answered next week in the final episode of Lucky Star !

a happy family…

[Impressions]
This episode overrides everything in Lucky star as my favorite episode, mainly because it touched on the story behind how Konata’s dad and mum get to know each other and also it featured baby Konata !! Kanata (Konata’s mum) returns to the family in the form of a spirit and when Konata asks about how mum accepted him, nostalgic images of the past filled both Konata’s dad and mum (from my point of view). KyoAni really did it very well in this short touching scene, the part when Konata’s dad put the ring on Kanata’s finger was really touching yet amusing (lol @ the clumsy dad)

Lucky channel is in ruins, all seems lost …will it make a return ? Last but not least, kudos to KyoAni for such a brilliant episode in Lucky Star !

Nice shot..but wait! who is that behind the photo (look at the balcony behind them)

Pretty spooky shot, as mentioned above. I wonder who is that though. This is yet another enjoyable episode as they focus on school excursion with our 4 main characters. Tsukasa’s sure cute in that scene when she feeds the deers (lol). Some humor as well when Tsukasa helps to take a photo for some Indian tourists and wonders how to say “cheese” in hindi. “kar shak kar shak..ok?” (LOL) but hell…in India, they speak english too -_-. The cold jokes when they were on the bus was funny too, I wonder how many caught the joke though. Kagami receives a letter and thought it’s a letter of confession….only to be stunned on the spot when the man reveals his face and “omg!” he wants the doll that she bought earlier on. *sigh* poor Kagami =(

Lucky Channel caught me by suprise !! Shirashi is back !!! and he is freaking…MAD. Akira was freaked out for sure and literally “own3d” orz . The channel is torn down, props thrashed around. What would happen to the next episode ? Will there still be Lucky Star?

The school trip and how Konata and the rest enjoyed in this trip makes this episode one of my fave episodes but one thing for sure, the friendship between the 4 is definitely strong.

Now…for Kuroi sensei, poor her, she dont get to play her MMORPG when she returned home as the server’s down for maintainence (dont you hate that?)

it’s natsu matsuri!

[Impressions]

Lucky Star ep20 is hot! yea..the hot summer season is here again and the girls are dreading the mosquitoes but Konata’s dad has a way - his muscles. When it is the hot summer, Tsukasa sure knows how to get her sis to bring things for her while she enjoys the air conditioning in the room. Miyuki suffers post-dentist-ism (juz a self made term), apparently her fear to dentists is still there. The girls (juniors and the seniors) realize that Miyuki and Minami are neighbors and woot! this time..more girls in yutakas…Yutaka’s yutaka is nice <3.

Lucky Channel 20 gets a special guest, Ono Daisuke to replace Shirashi while he is out there in the woods at Mt Fuji (aww). The ED theme was lawl, damn shirashi with that funny dance. (lol). There is yet another SHnY reference in this episode again and honestly, imo, this episode is really exciting although the girls in yutakas were nice though. 20 episodes of Lucky Star now, it is ending pretty soon eh? I wish it would have more episodes though…

[Impressions]

The first scene got me laughing straight away (lol)…that chin-chin joke was omg !!! So..how many of you thought what chin-chin was? ;) If you were thinking otherwise, it is wrong. Lots of gundam parody and references in this episode as well, seems like Konata is into it ..tsk. Tsukasa really look moe when she approached Kagami in a formal way. Konata was funny too when Yutaka approaches her and Yui-nee san for homework questions.. (lol). The 2nd part of the episode focuses on the next character in the anime, Tamura. Man..she really have very weird thoughts and that scene when Yutaka asks her what is “yaoi” was hilarious. Fantasizing is the word for Tamura, for some reason…i felt that Tamura resembles a bit like Akira in behavior without that “explosive” attiude, more on the way she talk. As for Kuroi sensei? … Kuroi is really feeling old…..tsk

We have Shirashi going off to Mt Fuji’s forest to find water for Akira in Lucky channel 19… yea..off to a trip! According to Akira, there will be a special guest in the next episode, wonder who will it be..hmm
