One thing I notices is some of them were on display last year. I wonder if otakus do buy them or perhaps thier makers keep them hidden some where of their own viewing pleasure? I wonder if I should upload those NSFW pics to my flickr???

Lovely, isnt it? Although this figurine isn’t the usual 1/8 size that you had expected, it is pretty decent and Haruka is not fixed to the seat, they are separate, you got to be careful there not to knock her off from her seat.

Overall build seems decent although the photo quality is not there to justify it properly. This figurine will be expected to be released on Apr 2008

Yet another nice figurine by Kotobukiya, the maid ver of Yuzuhara Konomi is sculpted by Masato Abe and stands at a height around 19cm. Imo, I would find it nicer if the posture does not involve the lifting of her dress -.-. Nevertheless, still elegant on the overall. I am wondering if the hair band is detachable. hmm…anyway, here are the general stats for this figurine… (stats…sheez)

Goodsmile has an interesting update, a 1/8 Pastel Ink PVC figurine! She will retail at 8800yen and available on March 2008.

The craftwork is really beautiful imo and the stand for the figurine comes with some..umm..fauna and a duck ? (lol :P ). Of course, the focus is on Pastel Ink herself, a nice posture and the yellow “stripes” makes her even more cute than ever.

As you can see, Shana is wearing her hair up clipped with a flower pin and is wearing a white dress and shoes. She is wearing her pendent and holding a sword. This is all on a black platform, what makes her special is the wedding dress that she’s wearing and also her overall posture. The cost is 5,229 yen and it is released on October 30.

I can tell that the makers of this figurine put a lot of effort into it to make it beautiful, so you better buy one. I don’t really like the facial expression. It just doesn’t seem like Shana. Why a wedding dress? Is she gonna get marry in the anime series like what they did for Zero no Tsukaima or is just for fun?

Hmm, I wonder… Another extravagant thing was how they did her hair instead of just hanging down, they made it curve at the end. =) In this picture, you might not be able to see the curve of the hair. To see it and more pictures, go here. So I hope you enjoy reading this, now don’t you want one?

[Figurine Updates]

Goodsmile has an interesting update on their website today - FREEing’s Lucky Star trading figures. What you see here is not finalized image yet but the figurines are targeted for a release on Jan 2008.

Each figure will cost 420yen each. For the trading figure set, we have some updates from Amiami. The figure set will include 10 trading figures, each at a height of 5cm with a total of 5 types (as seen above) + 1 secret. I am wonder who is that secret character - Akira? Minoru? LOL
