Here’s the short list of rules:

• Two entries per person at maximum. The song can be from an anime, games or doujin. Of course parody versions can be done too!
• Group entries are allowed too!
• One vote per person. I’ll just be using the normal wp-poll thing to keep track of votes, so vote for the best song!
• Email your entries (mp3 format) to bjorn_tan_88@hotmail.com. Maximum file size is 10MB. Please title it as “AFM Contest”.
• Entry deadline is October 31. Voting will begin on November 1 and last until November 15.
• The winners will be contacted and I’ll try to get them a nice prize.
• I’ll pay for postage within Singapore. Anywhere else and I’ll have to ask for help with payment for shipping.

Gonzo’s 2008 production - The Tower of Druaga: The Aegis of URUK has a new streaming 1:40 trailer on their website which has a small footage of the anime. The special thing about this animation is that it is actually a cross introduction to the upcoming MMORPG - Tower of Druaga: Recovery of Babylim. Looks good as expected from Gonzo, the anime will vintage in 2008.

Need I say any more? Season 2 of Zetsubou sensei was announced officially some time ago. Now, the website has gone live.

The website is currently still empty except an announcement poster. The second season will come out early 2008.

So….an oddball sensei and a few weird students ? It’s time to feel true despair ! :P

Well anticipated upcoming anime, H20 ~Footprints in the sand~ official website goes live yesterday.

The website currently has a little information on the characters, the staff involved and also a short summary of the story. Judging from the summary, this is a eroge game->anime conversion which looks pretty promising (hopefully not another kind of harem ending).

Director, Tachibana Hideki (Bleach movie) will be involved, hopefully, we will get a early 2008 release

It all began in 1978 when the classical Japanese anime, Yatterman(ヤッターマン) was born and it spanned a total of 100+ episodes.

30 years later, it is revived yet again ! Tatsunoko Production will be doing the remake, they were ones who did the original animation as well. Not much details are known yet except the estimated release date to be Jan 2008.

[OVA Preview]
Haikuo Soft’s eroge, Yotsunoha which was released in 2006, will get animated into a 2 episode OVA series due 2008. Animation Studio, HAL Film Maker will be doing this. Not much details given except that it will be directed by Nishikiori Hiroshi (directed Ayakashi Ayashi).

Price and actual date of release is unconfirmed yet and the OVA is for all-ages.

[OVA Preview]
A new trailer for the upcoming OVA, Strait Jacket has been put up on their website. It includes some actual footage from the anime which definitely looks interesting to me.

jellokun introduced me to this title some time ago with a trailer on youtube, and I am pretty much impressed by the graphics. It looks a bit ‘mecha?’ and for those who knew me well, I am not into mecha/”too much robots” kind of animes (with the exception of Kannaduki no Miko :P). OVA’s by done by feel. , the company who did Da Capo II.
The first DVD of the OVA will be launched in Japan on Nov 2007.

[Anime Preview]

The anime adaptation of Shigofumi was announced quite some time ago in January and not much details were known. As recently reported by Moonphase, this 2 volume light novel series by Amamiya Ryo will be adapted into tv anime series which will start airing in 2008.

The official website is now up. Pretty blank website but anyway, click here if you are interested to take a peek at it. I hope it will be nice and I wonder if it is like Shinigami no Ballad i.e. “story by story” kind of anime.
