    Episode 1 starts off with a surprising, abeit shocking, note. While one episode will definitely not be enough to judge how good an anime is, I’d say this one has got off a rather good start.

    H2O didn’t literally rock my soul, but it did make it rumble. Our main character is Takuma Hirose, who is blind for unknown reasons. In the beginning narration by Takuma, those words came from the poem “Footprints.” The poem is also sometimes called “Footprints in the Sand.” Maybe that’s how H2O ~Footprints in the Sand~ got it’s title.
