This ought to be my fave episode in Minami-ke so far and the most craziest episode! It’s all about the beach and the preparations before it and to speak about preparations, Chiaki has a good way to appease the “rain god”. (lol)

Haruka is the love <3

More of Kana’s hilarious antics in cooking (geez) and the humor level has reached another peak record. It was hard for me to hold my laughter when I was watching this during my lunch break at work, definitely a good stress reliever. It was interesting indeed to find Kana opening the door, only to find Chiaki changing (what? and the uncle was with them -.- )

Kana shows her GAR side

Minami-ke is getting more and more crazier now. In ep3, the focus is on Kana. Well, we can learn 3 things from her.

1. She can’t cook. It is a bio hazard if she does.
2. She can’t study. Never learn from her in how to “edit” the marks on your test paper.
3. She fails in love. I cant imagine what would happen if she has a boyfriend. (LOL)

When it comes to slice of life anime, I am always keen to see the different chapters of each character and the funny things that happen to each of them. Like what the prologue of the anime mentions, it is about the daily life of the 3 sisters which is kinda hilarious and full of laughter.

For those who have been watching Minami-ke (I’m one of them.), there is gonna be another version to be released sometime in 2008. I got this info while i was looking around in another anime blog called Random Curiosity (i bet a lot of people have heard of this blog.) The 2007 version that has already come out is produced by Doumu which has produced Dears, Koharu Biyori, and many others. The one that will come out in 2008 will be produced by Asread and it is called Minami-ke ~Okawari~. I wonder what the okawari part means since I don’t know japanese.

I did a quick search and found out that Asread has produced animes such as Shuffle! and will also do the Kiddy Grade Sequel. As you can tell, the animation quality looks more better than the Doumu version.

Minami-ke is a funny and cool anime. You can read the first episode impression here. I hope that both anime producers do great on making this series AWESOME.
