Nodame Cantabile will be getting a 2nd season. It will start airing in October.

Nodame Cantabile is a great show. What attracted me to watch the series was the music theme that the anime has. Being a piano player myself, this was a definite watch for me. The series inspired me to practice more. But music is not the only thing that makes this anime awesome. Nodame Cantabile has comedy, romance, and all of the things that shoujo animes have. You know how much I love shoujo animes. This anime is so awesome that some people named their site using the words from the lyrics of the opening song.

Woah! A lot of my favorite shows are getting a sequel this year. This is certainly happy about it. Looks like this year will be a great anime year.

Well, to begin with, I didn’t have much time and oOgA-sama advised a overall review of the series would be better, so here it is :)

Continuing from where oOgA-sama left off :)

I think this would be one of the best animes of 2007 ^^

This episode is about Mine Ryutaro, a violin player who loves rock. He also thinks he’s great and people can’t keep up with his “artistic” abilities. His violin exam is next week and no pianist is willing to accompany him ( he’s playing Beethoven’s Violin Sonata No.5 “Spring” ). He then meets Nodame and convinces her to accompany him with food ( Noda and I get swayed so easily by food >.> ).
