As oOgA has mentioned here, The Banzai Effect! (or as we call it, TBE or BE) has undergone it’s pre-launch and we are now beginning to shift our posts there. Our Anime Festival Asia report is currently being posted there so do go check it out!

Anime Banzai! will still be around so don’t worry! However, plans are that posts on it will be reduced to mainly anime previews, reviews and impressions so do visit our new site while keeping tabs on the old! Everything is still in the transition phase so give us some time to work out the bugs okay? ^^

This episode marks the end of Yukine’s arc, and I have to say, there were some pretty surprising turn of events that took place in the episode, including a certain cameo (lol). After watching the episode, my opinion on Yukine have changed, no longer will I think of her as a normal girl, or should I say, a weird girl who is interested in magic tricks…

Well then, feast your eyes on my rather failed attempt at writing an intelligent post..^_^

Congrats on moving on the the next step of your life Jellokun! You have now cemented your status as “old geezer” in both the forums and in our hearts.

I wish you happy times ahead and try not to give your other half as much grief as Sousuke did to Chidori. ^^

nutcase23 posted his a few months ago, so I thought I’ll do the same. My desktop is pretty simple compared to his, since…there’s nothing there. It’s icon-less and empty. And I haven’t found any good Rainlender and Rainmeter skins. Well, better start begging nutcase23 to teach me how to make one then. ^_^

Ahem..back to the point. After, the end of Misae’s arc last week, we now move on to Yukine’s arc, which was said to be one of the main arcs, but for some reason, they made it into a side arc. Nevertheless, main arc or side arc, as long as it’s epic, I approve of it. Let’s get started then. ^_^

According to this scan, a Hayate no Gotoku! OVA is in production. According to an unreliable source, it will be released on January 29, 2009. The subtitle is “Shimoda Onsen Hen Jyoshou, Nagi ga Aruji de Shituji ga Hayate de -Saikai- (Shimoda Hot Spring Part Prologue)”. “Shimoda Hot Spring” episodes correspond to the volume 11 and 12 of the manga. It will be released in DVD format before the actual 2nd season premieres.

All I can say is, OMGWTFBBQ111YESYESYESYESSSS!!
Damn, this piece of news is AWESOME!
I’m a big fan of HnG, and I love the 1st season.
This piece of news indicates that the 2nd season of HnG will probably come next year, maybe as early as in Spring 2009, but who knows..
Anyway, this news really made may day. I can’t wait for it! XD

u know rite i find it really amusing tt AFA08 is promoting the concert of May’n, a seiyu famous for Macross Frontier but Macross Frontier isn’t even available in DVDs in SG, (or) available on cable TV. so how do all the fans know abt Macross Frontier? so might as well go sue all those going for this May’n concert since most likely they watch Macross Frontier thru some illegal mean unless they prove they import the DVDs.

this is like so stupid, want to promote anime and yet try to kill anime at the same time, so typical sg.

Yep, the titles says it all. This is the list of anime that have a big impact on my life, and the anime that brought me to where I am today.
