The online anime community is set buzzing with discussions again when someone posted on various forums about a lawyer letter sent to him on behalf of Showgate Inc. by Rajah and Tann Transnational Legal Solutions.

It was said on forums that the anime “Devil May Cry” was downloaded using Bit Torrent and the information was captured by Singnet with the request from Showgate Inc. Singnet is one of the ISPs in Singapore.

However, in 2007, Odex added the names of the real six Japanese copyright holders to its case (GDH, Kadokawa Pictures, Showgate, Sunrise, TV Tokyo MediaNet and Yomiuri Telecasting) which, it turns out, was a smart move.
